We live in the countryside and we were walking when we found the tiny one. I took her to the vet straightaway to get her checked. She has nasty diahorea but is quite bright otherwise. They gave me a deworming, a probiotic thingy...I try to give her kitty milk but she is not keen. She drinks water and some specialised food that I bought from the vet. I'm planning on offering food every 3 hours : milk-food-water...she is asleep on heating pad on low. What else can I do !? I'm really worried she is not drinking the milk :(

She's very fluffy.

user1477462353 · 27/11/2016 16:51

She vomited and did a big diahorea :( gosh I'm so worried. Is it normal at this stage ?

She's on the last day of her wormer?

user1477462353 · 27/11/2016 17:11

Yes I gave her the last dose this morning. She just had some water but didn't want any good. Thank you Cozie, I was so hopping you were going to pop in on that thread

No it doesn't... She may have just scratched it and an inner lid is covering it but maybe get it checked out at the vets x

Paleogal · 27/11/2016 18:31

Aw she's gorgeous, hope she'll be ok

user1477462353 · 27/11/2016 18:36

She is going back to the vet tomorrow morning...I'm starting to doubt she is going to make it to be honest. The last time she had food was at 2 o'clock. She played a bit then slept. She vomited and did a diahorea at 4.30 then had water at 5, she has been asleep since then. I don't think she is going to make it.

Don't panic yet. Their little buggers for bouncing back quickly.

Littlemissindependent · 27/11/2016 19:50

I know it's easier said than done but try not to panic. I picked up my (supposedly) 10 week old kitten from rspca on Friday and yesterday I honestly didn't think she was going to survive the day but today she's totally bounced back.

cozietoesie · 27/11/2016 19:58

If in doubt, take her to sleep on you. (She liked it last night didn't she? Smile) Maybe keep some kitchen roll or a towel nearby in case she has an accident.

user1477462353 · 27/11/2016 20:51

We just left her at the vet. She was very dehydrated. She is not well. 😢

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/11/2016 20:54

Oh no, at least they can rehydrate her. You did your best.

cozietoesie · 27/11/2016 20:55

She has a little infection, it looks like. That photo you put on the thread backaways has something not quite right with her right eye, I think. (The reason I mentioned eyes. It could be as a result of something else though.)

You've done absolutely everything you could for her, though. It's down to her now.

hugoagogo · 27/11/2016 21:06

Oh no, so sorry she isn't doing so well.
I'm wishing very hard she picks up. Sad

roundandroundthehouses · 27/11/2016 21:12

Bless her, and you. If she doesn't make it - and we hope that she still might - you'll know you did all you could. She spent some of her life warm and purring Flowers.

MistyMinge · 27/11/2016 21:15

I've just come across this thread. She's a cutie.

Really hope she is ok.

I hope she pulls through op...and if she doesn't she's experienced love and warmth in your house.

Got everything crossed for her Flowers

AwkwardSquad · 27/11/2016 21:20

Fingers crossed for her, OP.

user1477462353 · 27/11/2016 21:44

Thank you all, you are very kind. I really hope she makes it too, such a sweet thing. I'll keep you posted.

RubbishMantra · 27/11/2016 22:03

In the photograph, looks like her third eyelid is showing. Could be because of dehydration caused by squits. You're doing everything you can OP, to ensure she'll pull through.

I hope with all my heart she will be OK. Poor little love.

HeckyWithTheGoodBear · 27/11/2016 22:07
