Has anyone got a bunch of idiotically named cats, and do you feel foolish when you yell said idiotic names out the back door.

Mine are called Scampi and Chips (two big black panther like brothers) and Pickle and Lily (girl kittens, one ginger and white and one tortoiseshell).

cat one and cat two

both scraggy arabic stripy skinny big eared and eyed strays I swore I wouldn't take in

They sat on the doormat and yowled until I gave in.

They both refuse to drink from their bowls and drink the swimming pool water, and no bin is safe from them.

Dumbledoresgirl · 27/01/2012 15:31

Morty (short for Voldemort but actually lengthened to Mortimer - work that one out if you will Hmm)

and Muffin.

DH (not a cat person) calls them Black Cat and White Cat. Hmm Hmm

I don't call them, or only on rare occasions when someone is stupid enough to show them the cat basket 2 minutes before they are about to go to the cattery/vet (they scarper at the sight of it). But tbh, any name, called in a high pitch sing-song voice, sounds stupid.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/01/2012 15:47

Bertie.

Every other pet at our vets is called bertie.

losttheflickumdickumagain · 27/01/2012 15:50

Fluffy We also have a cat called Bertie!

His brother is Ralph.

SleepyFergus · 27/01/2012 15:57

Guinness (mainly black with White bits) and Fergus (grey)

My DD can't pronouce the letter F, so she calls Fergus 'Bugger'. She once stood on the doorstep and shouted repeatedly at "Bugger" in the tree...Blush. Bugger actually suits him as he is a grumpy so and so.

SleepyFergus · 27/01/2012 15:58

I actually wanted to call them Jeeves and Wooster by DH said no. He wanted Maverick and Goose. I said no.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 27/01/2012 15:58

I wanted to call them middle aged fart names but was shouted down.

Iwas thinking of Sharon and Sheila, and Kevin and Dave for the boys.
