Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

Well another cold and wet start tot he day.

I'm going to use Leo's newly acquired egg cooking skills to make scrambled egg on toast, you can have the eggs scrambled with spices, cheese, smoked salmon trimmings, chives, herbs, spring onions and various amounts of cream / milk.

Florence is making bread for the toast so bagels, sourdough, white, wholemeal.

Fernando is making brandy alexanders.

Also can I be cheeky and ask Florence to bake me a seeded loaf for me to take home, apparently my local tescos dont have any seeded loaves whatsoever 🙄.

Well this is a new one, I'm leaving Leo in charge, so breakfast will be eggs but I have no idea what else.

Florence is looking nervously at him and says she can only make toast today and Fernando is serving brandy.

Well he made me some great poached eggs on toast , he's getting good at them.

However because it's a bit quiet he's getting upto mischief, I have just seen him with a cocktail recipe card for a Brandy Alexander a bottle of brandy and a bucket and he's heading towards a nanny goat .

This could get messy !

I had a little nostalgia trip yesterday so I'm making ploughman's lunch for pack up.

Well Florence is teaching Leo to make meringue this morning so that should be interesting. I'll just do toast and put out some fruit and cream to go with the meringue.

Yes we can still call it a ploughman's and I might just have one for my lunch.
