Shit, I am doing proper, heaving, Marley and Me type sobs.
That was AMAZING.
I so didn't think she was dead. I thought she would get back to her little girl. Or stay with Gene. Not just leave. Have just gone to weep over my little girl, and am now trying to convince Bloke that it is a tragedy that Gene is left alone.
Am v sad about the demise of the Quattro. Tears about that too.
How hot was he though? Grrrrrr!

I wasn't a big LOM watcher so can't say for that series, but have to say they did a cracking job of giving us an overall rationale for the A2A world. (Just hope I get to say the same for Lost...)

Gold star to my DH, a non-believer, who got drawn into this last episode, but went and rocked our DS, who is hot and upset, twice during the last 20 minutes, allowing me to watch to the end.

I think Gene wanted to remain as a copper. He said that he died during his first week on the job. All he ever wanted was to be a policeman so he's not ready to leave yet.

DH thinks (in a surprisingly sophisticated train of thought for him), that Gene can't go into the pub because he dies when he was young so the police station and his status is his heaven. Whereas for the rest as mentioned on here before its their purgatory.
