I keep thinking "The 4400" too.

I wonder if the PM and/or Frobisher would have been one of the original children from 1965? They're both about the right age. And Frobisher is Scottish.

I also keep thinking "The 4400". And some of Jack and Ianto's dialogue about being a couple is straight out of some fan fiction I've read, as is Jack's reaction to Gwen's pregnancy.

UnquietDad I agree JB is ageing, but Captain Jack did mention to his daughter that he found a grey hair. So it isn't that he isn't ageing at all, just ageing very slowly. After all, he does become, in several centuries, the Face of Bo.

But it is also the best story line Torchwood has had. And the best written, directed and acted.

And I agree that Jack should have kissed Ianto after getting out of the concrete.

bea · 08/07/2009 12:17

i'm loving it to bits and it's just so fab that it's on every night!!!!

TheOddOne · 08/07/2009 12:30

They'll find some way around the aging problem i think. Like they have with David Tennant. He's going to be out there aging with Rose and can pop back any time if 'the Child' proves unpopular.

Katisha · 08/07/2009 12:47

Wasn't Mickey supposed to be joining Torchwood at end of series 4?

MayorNaze · 08/07/2009 14:13

i also think that the civil servant who goes on about the 456 transmissions all the time is one of them

no?

CMOTdibbler · 08/07/2009 14:15

It was rather spooky when he breathed on the glass like that at the end of the episode - def something there

bronze · 08/07/2009 14:21

definitely something up with him by the way he hugged it at the end.
I do think Torchwood went downhill for a bit and is on its way up again

JackieNo · 08/07/2009 14:56

Yes, agree about the civil servant breathing on the glass - there's definitely more there than meets the eye. Good reminder about Jack becoming the Face of Bo, too. And what is this 'The 4400'?

JackieNo · 08/07/2009 14:57

Or is that 'Boe'?

I said before it started that I thought Mickey would be in it. No sign of him so far. And I wonder whether the car that got nicked at Ianto's sister's might make a reappearance.

JackieNo · 08/07/2009 15:00

Oh, OK - I can kind of see what you mean about 'The 4400'.

bunnyrabbit · 08/07/2009 15:22

Yeah I thought Mickey might be making an appearance. Was quite looking forward to it actually.

... and it is Boe (he came from the Boeshane peninsula)
