Interesting premise, looking forward to seeing how unbiased the doc is.

Really? None of you? Or are you all just glued to the tv?

I am watching. Feel so sorry for her. Cute little boy.

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:10

I am watching too.

iamaLeafontheWind · 23/04/2009 21:10

It's filmed by her friend, so should be interesting.

Does anyone else feel the urge to tidy, just in case the HV pops round?

Deeeja · 23/04/2009 21:11

I have got disability social worker coming next week, am stressing..

hester · 23/04/2009 21:13

I'm watching.

Ewe · 23/04/2009 21:13

God that is a whacking great huge on his face, not good timing for SW visits!

I feel desperately sorry for them both.

Less so her now that I have just heard her swear like that...

OP posts:
pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:14

why was her first son taken away?

iamaLeafontheWind · 23/04/2009 21:16

I think they said because she was young & struggling.

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:17

What that little boy has just said is utterly horrifying and it is blindingly obvious why SS want to keep an eye on the family.

Ewe · 23/04/2009 21:19

That was so so sad. Heartbreaking to hear a small child speaking like that.

Meglet · 23/04/2009 21:19

Its not a good idea to remind him what his dad did .

iamaLeafontheWind · 23/04/2009 21:21

She's not gonna get much sympathy from the Mumnsnet jury.

But there but for the grace...

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:22

Yes. Poor little soul. The film maker is narrating in a way that questions the fairness of Kimberley having to prove things are okay - but of course they need to keep tabs! Kids aren't taken away just because parents are 'struggling' - there's more to it than that, there must be good reasons she's being given anger management. What a difficult situation.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:22

im watching

SuziSeis · 23/04/2009 21:23

what did harvey say?

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:23

I don't think that's fair - people aren't in free fall, decisions are made and consequences occur.......not everything is down to the 'grace of god' is it!

Ewe · 23/04/2009 21:24

I do feel very sorry for her that her life has ended up like this but I equally think that you don't need to smack/swear/shout at your child, especially one who by the sounds of it has already been a victim of violence in the home.

OP posts:
pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:25

I completely agree.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:25

suzi, when she asked him if he wanted to see his dad he said "smash the door"

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:26

'Daddy smash my door'

TeenyTinyToria · 23/04/2009 21:26

He said "smash me in my door" and then "right down my face". I feel so sorry for that little boy.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:27

how old is he..? harvey i mean

SuziSeis · 23/04/2009 21:27
