Interesting premise, looking forward to seeing how unbiased the doc is.

Okay, fair enough, no support. After the first one, she had no support and the child was taken away.

So then she goes and has two more?!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:42

Hmm i suppose, doesnt she see her family anymore??

Deeeja · 23/04/2009 21:43

She does seem to be very unlucky

SoWhat · 23/04/2009 21:43

And she is smoking now - not doing herself any favours!

Deeeja · 23/04/2009 21:43

She is the violent one.....or is she protecting herself from violent men

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:44

FFS. What else can they do?! She's persistently putting her children in a violent atmosphere. God how awful and difficult, but her kids can't be left with her unmonitored because look at what is happening!

Ewe · 23/04/2009 21:44

YES actually it IS down to you. FFS.

Trying very hard to see the good in her, be sympathetic etc but she doesn't make it easy!

OP posts:
LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:44

she needs to stop blaming other people and her past for her actions now, everyone else manages it

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:45

EWE i agree

expatinscotland · 23/04/2009 21:45

Okay, Kim, you're now an adult, time to learn to curb your temper, because even though everyone gets angry, not everyone gets the police called on them.

No.personal.responsibility.at.all.

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:46

Poor little bugger. He doesn't stand a chance, really, does he. 'Daddy smash my door, down my face' and then Mummy smashing his new Daddy's face in.

tots2ten · 23/04/2009 21:47

is she hitting out first as a way of protecting herself?

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:47

She is proving what they are saying is right- for whatever reason she is not providing them a safe home free from violence. It's tragic.

Skimty · 23/04/2009 21:47

I think the child's better off with her than in care though.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:47

Hes ever so cute as well, makes you sorry for people that spend years trying to have kids and cant
Before that scan did her boyfriend say he wanted to call the baby savlon :S ?!?!

Meglet · 23/04/2009 21:47

I don't suppose they'd do something that might help like offering her counselling / therapy? She has lots of issues .

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:48

God poor girl.

SuziSeis · 23/04/2009 21:48

any of you had a shitty childhood?

not much empathy here tonight

Ewe · 23/04/2009 21:48

I think he said Saffron.

Social services absolutely need to be involved here I think, she needs desperately needs support/monitoring. Do SS offer counselling etc?

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 23/04/2009 21:48

There comes a point when you need to take responsibility for yourself and your actions.

pottycock · 23/04/2009 21:49

It's not a given that you reiterate the injustices suffered as a child in adulthood -far from it.

expatinscotland · 23/04/2009 21:50

'any of you had a shitty childhood?

not much empathy here tonight'

Yes, plenty of people have.

Yes, SS does offer counselling and parenting courses.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 21:50

a lot of people have shitty childhoods but doesnt mean they end up giving their kids the same, in fact in most cases it makes them want to try twice as hard to make it better for their kids

Skimty · 23/04/2009 21:51

I think Harvey needs some support - maybe some sort of psychiatric monitoring with the things he has seen?

I think she needs to help to keep her family together.

I think she's trying.

SuziSeis · 23/04/2009 21:51

i think she is taking responsibility
