She is proving what they are saying is right- for whatever reason she is not providing them a safe home free from violence. It's tragic.

I think the child's better off with her than in care though.

There comes a point when you need to take responsibility for yourself and your actions.

It's not a given that you reiterate the injustices suffered as a child in adulthood -far from it.

Yes, plenty of people have.

Yes, SS does offer counselling and parenting courses.

a lot of people have shitty childhoods but doesnt mean they end up giving their kids the same, in fact in most cases it makes them want to try twice as hard to make it better for their kids

I think Harvey needs some support - maybe some sort of psychiatric monitoring with the things he has seen?
