Very big generealisation. I would imagine alot of the drunks are not teenagers and what about the cost of smokers to the NHS? OH well

I work in the NHS and it is so much worse than it was 20 years ago.

Bizarrely, the portrayal of A and E, or at least a part of it, wasn't, for once, too far from reality.

Except for the fact that they airbrushed out all the old people.

...most of the work is children with minor injuries, and old people with unsolvable chronic illness.

That stuff is a bit dull, though....

..the stuff about nights in 'the old days' being all scrabble games and wheelchair races is guff, too.

It is an oft repeated myth of the trade. I've been hearing it for twenty years. I now hear 22 year old nurses spreading this myth, like they'd know...

Really felt for the young girl with the foot injury and of course for the parents of the young lad who died

I can't believe people put their lives and personal safety in so much danger and that's what constitutes a fun night out.

Very sad programme but mostly not because of drunken teenagers, just very human tragedy.

Hated that doctor. What an utter uberbitch. She should get anpother job preferably in a non-public facing role. Every teenager featured was lovely in comparison, except that wankerish drunk driver who was an arsehole.

I've had a wheelchair race on a quiet night shift as a student nurse! Fair few years ago though.
