Sorry for the delay - internet went down just as I clicked create conversation....

OP posts:

will you be writing any porn fic as a result Kay?

just curious

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 16:43

he he - I'm not really sure, I've never done Nine. I've got a reasonable Ten voice, I'm not sure how I'd do with CE. There's tons of it already out there, of course - a lot tends to be angsty, though, he's an angsty sort of chap. There was one on Teaspoon involving a shower that seems to have lodged in my memory banks.

It's a slightly different dynamic, though, don't you think? A bit more parental in overtones, which leads in fic to a lot of (appropriate, really) Doctorish reluctance to mess about with the human teenager.

Still, I've managed a Gene Hunt voice before now, so anything is possible. I'm currently trying to deal with the third chapter of my non-smutty post Journey's End story, but everyone is clamouring for pr0n, it's most disconcerting.

I'll see what the muses have to say about it later. (Although I might be able to turn UQD's head, I thought I might be brave and try for Martha/Jenny )

The childlins are watching Genesis of the Daleks again, and my geek daughter just muttered to herself "Ah, that's why Davros knew who Sarah-Jane was, and why he said she was there at the beginning"

is proud

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 16:47

And I'm a lot prouder about that than when we were watching Bear Behaving Badly earlier, with Barney-previously-of-Totally-Doctor-Who, and I thought 'Hmm, young man, don't you look nice in that jeans-and-check-shirt-combo.'

I must be ovulating.

Cappuccino · 23/07/2008 16:58

I have tentatively ordered a Tom Baker DVD

will the child like it?

I can't remember anything, as I keep saying

you are right of course about CE/ young teen

what about CE and the Slytheen woman? or Harriet Jones?

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 17:09

erm, I think I can pretty much guarantee that any talent for writing anything hot will evaporate if I'm having to pair off Christopher Eccleston with Penelope Wilton or Annette Badland.

It'll work with Rose, it's just a bit darker and more Heathcliffy-brooding, methinks.

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 17:10

Which Tom Baker DVD?...

Cappuccino · 23/07/2008 17:37

now you are just being ageist

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 18:02

It's nowt to do with age. Penelope Wilton reminds me of my aunt, and there's no way on earth I'm going to be doing the necessary to write a story about her getting it on with CE. And Margaret the Slitheen is a big green alien with a baby-face.

I'm quite happy to do a Sarah-Jane one, and she be no spring chicken.

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 18:15

Oh dear. Blogging Doctor is dying apparently. I really should care more than I do.
[evil]

Cappuccino · 23/07/2008 18:26

dying? god what a cop-out

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 18:32

It's because his brain is too dense to be supported by just one heart.

JackieNo · 23/07/2008 18:46

Is it just me, or is his spelling getting worse too?

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 18:59

Clearly not the same character that was a grammar nazi with Luke Rattigan.

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 19:35

I've mentioned elsewhere that I'm going to upload some actual photos of me on my profile. Haven't managed it yet, but DT fans might want to take a look in the meantime.

JackieNo · 23/07/2008 19:54

Is that really him? Very pert.

KayHarker · 23/07/2008 20:00

Yup, 'tis really him.

It's going to be such an anti-climax when I finally get pics of me on there...

JackieNo · 23/07/2008 20:44

No, no, not at all, no, really...

Capital · 23/07/2008 21:55

phwoar, Kay. When did you take that snap?

serenity · 24/07/2008 01:09

He's got a very long back hasn't he? Very lickable smooth.

KayHarker · 24/07/2008 08:56

Well, I make no secret of the fact that he pops round every Friday. I was glad I dusted the mirror on the wardrobe that day, I can tell you.

It is a lovely lean, long back, isn't it?

Dh has downloaded the photos of me now, so I'll try and get them on there later. I'm not naked in them, which may prove something of a relief to you.

Cappuccino · 24/07/2008 10:20

because his brain is too dense?

or because the author has run out of ideas?

It didn't strike me [bitchy] that blogging Dr had a particularly dense brain anyway; he was a bit of an airhead imo

KayHarker · 24/07/2008 10:25

I read 'dense' in the pejorative sense. Because I'm harsh like that.

Right, anyone about.. shall I upload theses photos now I've got children quietly making crayon leaf patterns?

Cappuccino · 24/07/2008 10:43

come on then

leave up up till after lunch tho as I am at work

KayHarker · 24/07/2008 11:11

Might make it mumsnet mates only but I don't actually have any of those Not going to to leave it up for too long, but I am feeling boastful about my size 8 jeans. It shall prove my downfall, no doubt.

Elffriend · 24/07/2008 12:20

'Tis a lovely piccy Kay!

of skinny jeans look. But forgives because of gratuitous DT bottom shot.
