I don't personally like Chinese food and chips but Chinese chip shops are very much A Thing. And curry and chips is pretty common too. It stems form entrepreneurial immigrant communities getting a foothold in the popular British working class takeaway economy.

Also, I was mortally offended by Angry Ginge (you'd think he was the posh one) dismissing Parmo and forcing it to be renamed. Parmo is iconic and I quite liked Max doing his homage to the NE. I was surprised Grace didn't step in and (wo)mansplain it. It's been made on Masterchef before.

All his YouTube witterings and takeaway tastings and he has never had Chicken Parmo? Fraud.

I can't spell tonight. I once had a holiday job and was tasked with making melba toast. After I burned up a whole loaf, I was sent off to wash lettuces
