Wow Sue amazing

Halsall · 09/09/2026 21:22

Sue's looks good but the flavours sound odd - pistachio, elderflower and lemon?

I've met Rav - she's lovely (and her restaurant is excellent, and local to me). The desserts are stunning. (She was hiding her second pregnancy - not very well - when this was recorded)

Buttery Biscuit Base

Fransgran · 09/09/2026 21:25

I associate trifle with argument. My family trifles had jelly but no custard. Ex husband was raised with custard and no jelly. Eventually I just stopped making trifle. None of the kids liked either version

viques · 09/09/2026 21:25

ooh Sue, that was a it mean, true but mean.

That is a mess Emily, but since Nitin has done nothing but slice strawberries you should be safe.

littlbrowndog · 09/09/2026 21:25

It’s a whopper 😉😂😂

Halsall · 09/09/2026 21:25

Oh my gosh. I love, love, love coffee cake (and even better if it has walnuts in it)

Omg I would scoff that cake so fast

littlbrowndog · 09/09/2026 21:27

Wow change of career. That is true praise

Me too. Best cake ever

Halsall · 09/09/2026 21:27

I'm sorry Nitin but that's low-effort

It’s like that at my parents’. Mum will buy one at Christmas even though I don’t like custard and she can’t have gluten, so there’s a bit of swapping has to happen, and I don’t actually like any of the rest of it enough to bother either, so then my dad ends up having to eat most of it…

TheDogsMother · 09/09/2026 21:27

Said it before but Trifle is Satan’s own pudding. I’m not a fussy eater but absolutely every element is horrible to me.

littlbrowndog · 09/09/2026 21:29

Another stunning cake

viques · 09/09/2026 21:29

that looks lovely from Lauren.

Halsall · 09/09/2026 21:30

Lauren's was great but they really rushed past it - didn’t even show them cutting it!

That's what always happened with us. Like your Dad, one of us would have to eat the whole thing and then complain about feeling bilious

TheDogsMother · 09/09/2026 21:30

Show their caraketers 🤣

ilovesooty · 09/09/2026 21:32

Oh poor Emily.

ExtraOnions · 09/09/2026 21:32

Seems odd the put Nitin in the bottom 3, and not Sue

TheDogsMother · 09/09/2026 21:32

Joe continues to live on borrowed time

viques · 09/09/2026 21:33

Oh so unfair. Her dessert was a mess, but at least she tried to show skills which blumming Nitin didn’t. He just did pretty.

Sunbird24 · 09/09/2026 21:33

I’d prefer you go and buy a train ticket Joe…

Agreed. And they didn’t even think his tasted of much.
