They’re making me nervous

Well we had a decent day. It’s a shame the two matches weren’t especially exciting. We were hoping Team World would win one of them so there would be a bit more jeopardy and we’d get to see Carlos play. The crowd got really excited when Learner had a set point against Sascha and then after he lost the tiebreak the atmosphere all went out of the stadium.

The 02 has a silly policy where you’re not allowed to bring any outside food whatsoever, which might be fine for evening gigs but not when you’re there for 5 hours watching tennis in the middle of the day. I am still grumpy about having to miss tennis while queuing for my severely overpriced burger.

They were really making Gigi nervous when they couldn't open the champagne. For all we know, they are still trying .

and yes, Carlos is the absolute star. It's funny to think at one stage the media were predicting that none of the new players would be able to bring in the crowds the way the Big 3 did. Seems they didn't need to worry.

I’ve lost track of the Asian tournaments.

I feel like we've been miraculously transported back to 2021, with Daniil playing Andrey and ADF playing Hubi in finals.

ADF has taken the first set. It would amazing if he could get 2 titles this year after struggling for so long to get his first. But a win would be a big deal for Hubi as well.

I do like both of them, but it would be great for ADF to win another title so soon after winning his first.
