Thought do a new thread for the new series and 40yrs of Casualty on bbc

Saturday BBC One's TV schedule now officially includes the double episode, with the two parts set to air back to back on Saturday 5 September at 8pm and 8.50pm.

The 40th anniversary will have a "huge firebomb" leaving several characters' fates hanging in the balance ……..

As long as they leave Dylan alone I don’t mind. I have one or two I wouldn’t miss but I feel a bit mean saying who!

I’m thinking maybe Jodie or Nicole? Although Faith doesn’t have much luck in her love life so wouldn’t be surprised if Iain was there, probably while running in to save someone else that could have got out fine themselves.

But I would like to see Jodie advance in her career.
She has really grown on me and I like her as nurse.
Rida took the next band up in the department so not sure how she can advance there ?

The Reunion on R4 this morning was all about Casualty. I think it is repeated on Friday, but I have downloaded it to listen to on the plane.

I would like to see Jacob back as a nurse .

It’s interesting that Jodie and the other nurse haven’t progressed to band six positions, I think typically they would have done by now. They’ve been qualified a while!
