Why is Ian best man at the NYD's FF wedding and why is Cathy so interested in her phone that she doesn't help out Oscar with his tie.

I am glad im not the only one confused by the wedding arrangements. It sounds like they have the same date but different venues and why so complicated and where does max get his money from ?

I don't think the wedding arrangements have been explained properly on screen.

Kim moved to September so Cindy could have NYD. Max forgot to pay for NYD so was gazumped by a random.

Kim then sold September to Cindy. But now she wants September too. It sounded from what she said they would 'share' the venue. But who knows.

We know Max gets married (or at least, he intends to, no idea if he makes it) on NYD anyway so I can't get that interested. Same with a lot of the other storylines - @Alucard55 I completely agree with you.

Share the nice venue ? Although Kim and Cindy have a joint hen , so who knows . Thanks for that though shelling , I was a bit confused. Paying 8k to buy a date is ridiculous isn’t it! I feel that many business men wouidnt do this just to keep the married before Cindy happy.

But when Cindy's not happy, she's NOT HAPPY.

So it may be cheap at the price...

She knew about cash, even if not how much, as she remarked on it when Kim was buying champagne.

And she had told Max to sort it, and knows how he sorts things.

That’s correct, except sharing the venue.. Cindy has the nice venue for Sept , Kim has the money.. Kim’s decided to keep the September date too and find a new venue.. so two weddings on the same date in September.. but Cindy isn’t happy about that obviously because it’s all about her and her day..

Cindy hasn’t many to invite anyway ! She hates Lauren , I doubt that Nic wouid let George go ( !) Petahh wouid show up , but that’s it. Max knows a few people that he hasn’t annoyed yet ( Annie) but most people would go to Kim’s with a choccy cake and some laughs! # team kim bride !

Ahh, I bet ( but no real idea not a spoiler ) that Penny has the baby early and Kim ends up postponing her one anyway ! Although it’s already complicated enough as it is !

Maybe… Cindy and Max get married in Sept and then he falls in love with Chelsea and they get married NYD all whilst Priya is pregnant with a secret ginger Max baby.

because Max does something lol to save Jimmy and Ethan, and make Peter want to kill him and Jacks quote of “kiss , marry , kill”

but ofcourse it’ll be something way less exciting lol

Cindy does know about the money and is happy to give it to someone she doesn’t like that much to get her own way. When most of their joint businesses are pretty much on the ropes I would imagine especially now Max isn’t dealing dodgy motors.

I'm sorry but I'm still not getting it. Wasn't Max guzumped before he offered money to Kim?

Max told Cindy he was guzumped , but maybe that was by Kim ? Although I’m not 100 percent and I think the writers don’t know either tbh ! It is muddled. It’s like the fact that Barney said he hit Joel , but now Amy said it was her etc. 🤷🤷

I do like Cindy though. I know a few selfish money grabbing narcs like her irl ( or have known ) who end up smelling of roses 🌹
Her and cheating max deserve each other at whichever venue will have them eventually

If Max and Cindy marry in Sept he'd have to go some to get a divorce before NYD, but there's enough dodgy lawyers/solicitors in the square to Make It So

Kim agreed to let Max have NYD (she hadn't yet booked it). But he neglected to pay for the booking and was gazumped.

He then paid Kim to take her September booking. (Would the venue even allow that? Mind you, what do EastEnders care about reality!)

@MyWildOliveGoose Nice idea re Max, but you have to be married for 12 months before you can divorce, so even Max can't get married twice in four months!

We did talk a while ago though about Priya having twins, one from each of Max and Ravi. Max's being a hairless ginger kitten, while Ravi's is dusky gorgeousness.

Maybe he realises that he only truly loves himself and leaves Cindy at the alter and marries his reflection NYD

was it Wadey that did that twin storyline with Mercedes in Hollyoaks? Could well have been. He’s a bit of a weirdo isn’t he really lol

I hope Max doesn’t hire Johnny ( who isn’t a divorce lawyer , but hey ho) he was rubbish with Ian and disappeared again.
Ritchie or one of her team might help out , but they charge !

Has anyone seen the new clues that point to Chelsea being Max’s NYD bride?

There is no way on earth would Max get a divorce in such a short time, just wouldn’t happen. No matter how much money thrown at it. Apparently quickest time for it is 6 months and it’d be more than that by NYD. Actually googled and it’s few weeks to 3 months but depends entirely on your local laws. Max could get an annulment quite quickly though.

No? That's a very long shot.
