Crap episode today. It is ludicrous that Kim and Denise would walk out of a hospital with no staff knowing! There’s no emotional stakes in this story - I don’t ‘care’ about any of them. Nobody called the police about Sheila who just quietly left the airport after being confronted by Denise and Kim. Denise will be fine so I don’t find her story engaging or moving, But Zaraah Abrahams (Chelsea) has been excellent.

Ahh a church plus Vic wedding just like all the others!

Agree I don’t think Denise is going

I haven’t watched today’s yet.. but I really hoped they would do Denise’s story much better. It looked like they would initially.

As for Chelsea, I looooooove when they give her good storylines to get into. She’s always been fabulous. I can’t think of a time she’s had the focus and not done it justice. Plus I do love a good Chelsea slap,, one of my favourite moments from her is Whitney and Zack’s wedding.. when it all came out about Lauren - Whitney slapped Lauren and Chelsea’s in the background “yes slap her again” 😆🤣 she’s the most composed calm angry person and then - slap! 🤣🤣

Chelsea has played a blinder. I always found Ger very wooden as an actress in thr earlier shows, she’s done very well. I hope she kicks Sheila hard up the arse.

I liked the old head Chelsea too, but the new one has stepped up to what is a pretty rubbish storyline with Ian and Jordan / gray and so on.

I’ve just started today’s.. I’m sorry but the idea of giant Eve somehow getting through the high cat flap of a window did make me laugh out loud.

The Gray/Sheila storyline can't end too soon for me.

I’m glad the teenagers are being rebellious.. feels real lol it’s about time we had rebellious teens! I knew Avani and Denzel were off snogging lol

also glad, Kim and Denise didn’t arrive at the airport and immediately see Sheila , they had to look for a bit first lol although - Sheila ran off with the passport lol hopefully the police took it when they caught her leaving the airport.

I’m hoping Nicola does her storyline justice, she’s so good.

also loving, LOVING Jean and Priya being friends.. I hope they bloom like Jean and Shirley did.

as for Gray threatening Ian, I’m over it lol if they wanted us to think anything bad would actually happen, we wouldn’t have seen Ian in the flash forward.

If Cindy and Max are buying Kim and Howies wedding day in 4 weeks, then Cindy can’t be the bride NYD and I expect it’ll all fall apart because someone else falls head over heels for Max by then lol

Didn’t Scott Mills NYD say on the radio that max had been married four times and this was number five ? Or someone did ! Offering seven k for a wedding venue , oh my days I would have snapped that one up myself and found another place for less money !

Scott read out Oscar’s message saying something like 5th time lucky Cindy or whoever will be number 5
presumably the buying the wedding thing falls though?

So, Kim will take the September wedding ? Is that right ?
Why so few venues to choose from ! Must be loads in London surely ? Or Hertfordshire ? Or anywhere ?
Max should do some leg work on this , he obviously cba can he , too busy trying to be with Priya before.

And Max can give thousands away to keep Cindy happy too! Where does he get his money from ?? He has Phil’s safe or money tree somewhere

We know that Max is the groom of someone NYD.
Its getting very weird atm with these weddings
I am surprised they could film at an airport as the Gavin and Stacey crew were told they couldn’t at Cardiff airport because of security concerns( the final episode they did a few years ago )

Amy wasn’t dating Denzil was she , so not sure why she’s got the hump. Unless I missed it ? I like the teens together though , it’s a bit different and they don’t do a bad job of it.
It won’t bring new younger people in to watch it though

I think she thought they were in the process of getting together, and it did look like he likes her, so I can see why she'd be peeved. She was a bit mean re him not getting it up though.

I think Nicola was behind the bar when Ria locked herself in the office. It's bizarre that the party would be there.

Why not the community center for the party ? In fact I thought that it was there at first , but no.

I suppose because that was being used for the family day, and they wanted something special for Ria rather than hacking onto that. However all the other local kids would have been at the family day, so an odd choice. Especially for a kid, a bar? Really?

Linda was having her last-minute family fun day at the community centre! They could have had it at home though.

Oh ok, Linda was there. I suppose it was so Nic and Eve can be in each others orbit too having it there..
They seem to get on ok now after that slap

Me too, she an adopted daughter. I have always had a soft spot for Jean, she’s so positive.

I like Jean too and Priya. They play their parts well

They did date. Ages ago. Broke up and looked like she was hoping they’d get back together x

I wouldn’t miss the screeching Slaters if they all left
