Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Wasn't there a brother? I remember Glenda visiting with a son years ago?

Yes, I just remembered - Danny. He tried to con Roxy I think? So not him because Jack would recognise him.

I don't want to see any more returning characters, Wadey has no clue what to do with them. The only success he has had is Max, and I wouldn't put it past him to wreck even that by NYD.

I agree I love Priya. She is great in this storyline.

Amy's blouses are so obvious, Jack would have had a word, and even Ricky would have made a joke about it. Yet everyone ignores them!

He could be Glenda’s son. She is one character I would love to see back.

That would be weird as they were characters closely connected in Hollyoaks too.. would be typical of Wadey

Those tops wouldn't happen on Denise's watch.

True that!

100%. Her absence from the house has highlighted what a shit parent Jack is. Supposedly a copper and hasn’t even noticed how stressed Ricky is about the attack/bike lock. Not surprising as he doesn’t really pay any attention to him.

the80sweregreat · 11/08/2026 07:56

I must have zoned out a bit over the Joel attack , but what is the significance of this bike lock when he was hit by a hammer ?

He was locked to the railings with the bike lock. Since he was found a little distance away with the hammer injuries someone must have released the bike lock. The lock belongs to Ricky. However all the teens knew the combination (he told everyone it was Charli’s birthday). It occurred to me that if Joel overheard that information he might have released himself - but would he have known Charli’s date of birth…

the80sweregreat · 11/08/2026 08:15

Oh thanks. Was confused there

Shellingbynight · 11/08/2026 09:13

I wondered about Joel releasing himself but his hands were chained up behind his head. So he wouldn't be able to see and manipulate the lock even if he heard the combination. If someonelse passed by he could have told them so they could release him, but that is all getting a bit complicated. Wadey likes the obvious.

I thought exactly the same about Amy's top not happening on Denise's watch! You can see why Dee slammed out of the house on NYD, there will be so many things that have gone wrong without Jack even noticing or actioning.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 11/08/2026 09:31

I think the Ricky freed him as he’s a more sensitive teenager than Amy, probably felt guilty.

I was thinking that too. Denise is going to arrive back to a few fires.

Shellingbynight · 11/08/2026 10:05

Joel deliberately avoided Lily yesterday so I thought she probably had something to do with it. Either freeing him, or hitting him. Or both. We don't know if it the same person did both. And what did they hit him with?

They have set it up like an Agatha Christie, all of them have 'secrets' to hide, but for most of them the secret is not that they hit Joel. Nugget had his buried dope, Denzel and Avani probably snogged, Barney found the hammer. Who's left? Ricky and Lily I think?

@Eastie77Returns The actor who plays Craig is 31. Amy is 18 this autumn. Assuming Craig is a similar age to the actor, Roxy would have shagged him when she was 30 and he was 13. Not even Wadey would go there.

I hope he is not Archie's son. Him turning up as a cop working directly with Jack would be a ridiculous coincidence too far.

Surely if he is Archie’s son this would be disclosed in his application or something? Or am I thinking police do more enquiries?

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 11/08/2026 11:06

Didn’t it say this morning Denzel hit Joel? Or that he was seen sneaking off so it could be him?

the80sweregreat · 11/08/2026 11:16

They did that story with Mick being abused at 12 or 13 and he found out that Frankie was his child.
It’s been done before and Roxy was never the type of character to do this.

In true EastEnders style, he wouldn't know he was Archie's son. Long-lost relatives seem to end up coincidentally on the Square - like binning pigeons!

Alucard55 · 11/08/2026 11:18

Is anyone else finding Vicki being all chatty with Joel a bit off? And him chatting back and joking? He beat her up and filmed it! I've said before I remember being really shocked at those scenes.

I don't think this storyline is doing much to help VAWAG. A male can leave a woman for dead then a couple of months later be living in the same house getting pep talks of her.

At least Avani and Amy are obvious in their contempt for him.

Alucard55 · 11/08/2026 11:19

On a completely trivial level. Dee in a hospital bed with all those big rings on.

But then how does he know he’s Archie’s son and related to Amy? He’s her uncle right?

the80sweregreat · 11/08/2026 11:21

The blue aprons make me laugh too. What is it protecting really , or just lip service to the fact she is having treatment?

the80sweregreat · 11/08/2026 11:24

Vicki is obviously a lot more forgiving than I’d be.

Alucard55 · 11/08/2026 11:47

@the80sweregreat me too. I know I shouldn't say this but if that was me I would most certainly not forgive would struggle not to get physical. Even if it was a 16 year old boy.

the80sweregreat · 11/08/2026 11:51

I know that the Zac affair was resolved on her wedding day , but I still feel she is doing this for Ross in order to try snd cover the guilt she feels about it.
Although it is bad that she wouid feel this way enough to forgive what he did!

Eastie77Returns · 11/08/2026 11:53

Perfectly natural not to forgive the person who beat you to a pulp and left you for dead. Vicki chatting away with him like nothing has happened is ridiculous. And Sharon still lives in that house with Albie but has nothing to say about it. Joel is a brilliant actor so I hope he sticks around but the speed of his rehabilitation is very unrealistic.
