Apologies if there is another thread on this. Couldn't see one.

Thoughts?

Just watched this over the weekend. Deeply, deeply troubling - especially that Jean still walks among us. How is that right?!

Johanna and, especially, Nick were amazing. To have stuck their heads above the parapet to do what they knew would rain down holy hell on themselves was very brave. And to do it whilst negotiating their own personal grief and trauma too. My heart went out to Nina and Meg's friends. Will was... troubling. I felt for him right up until he said that he "couldn't really remember" how Meg was when she got off the almost-fatal flight and that the brain tumour "might have been missed" in the autopsy. Hmmm. I wonder if he's still in touch with Jean and somehow 'trauma-bonded' or in thrall to her.

Will had been groomed by Jean I think and he then enabled her. The fact he’s still in denial about what Jean is (a monster) and what actually happened is worrying.

I think it's great they found out the truth, and I admire how far they went. But some of the messages shown, and the smirks on their faces at points, personally made me feel uncomfortable.

Just finished watching it. I think that, at the time they were exchanging these messages, Nick and Jo thought they were uncovering a financial scam. Obviously in light of the tragic outcome, they look a bit ‘off colour’ now but that’s with the benefit of hindsight

I don’t think Nick and Jo come out of this looking ‘off’ at all , they did uncover a financial scam and Meg blatantly lied to them . I do think the lead up to her death warrants better investigation but the fact that she has died doesn’t absolve her of the facts that she was complicit , whether that be because she was so controlled by her mother or not it does seem , from what her friends implied that she had opportunity to get away from her .

I have just finished this and I am BAFFLED as to how Jean has escaped charges. What an evil woman
