Nicola seemed so desperate for instant money, she must already have put Eddie's cash into the restaurant to save it from failing. She also subbed George quite a bit of her own money previously didn't she? I think she gave him a loan to start it up. For someone who ran a bar for years he's a terrible businessman, we hardly see him at the restaurant.

I'm glad Denise just came out and told Jack&Jack.

That’s some speculation isn’t it? So one from Max, one from Ravi. Both of whom don’t care for her.

Fan fictional stuff on Facebook makes me laugh though.

Max was too easy to seduce. His trousers just slip down with little effort. Pity we didn’t see the Priya seduction scene or having said that we’re probably best not having seen it.

Priya and Max will go down as one of my favourite scenes in Eastenders of all time.. “now come here and get on your knees” I almost got on my bloody knees !

I think prawn gate is the beginning of the moons losing the vic.. and all that money Stacey put into it

I think the prawn thing will be them losing the vic. Wonder if George and Nicola take over and that’s why she’s there NYD because didn’t she have a broken leg or something? Would she drag herself to the vic otherwise? They have a bar and restaurant already? Think she’s a good choice for landlady, gives me Peggy vibes. On the prawns though, pretty weird I mean did they really need Vicky to tell Alfie it’s ’the other end’ and all the gurgling noises. Boak

It was George's turn for 'lifechanging episode' so Eddie had to die, it was just a question of how! It was a let down he wasn't pushed down the stairs. Very un-EastEnders. Everyone spitting venom at him then a dying man... dies.

Yesterday's episode was so badly paced. Denise had a couple of lines telling Jack she had cancer, Chelsea barely got a look in. Gina's and George's scenes were the focus on the drama but there was nothing new as we'd been going round in circles for weeks. Not helped by Colin Salmon phoning it in. Raising your eyebrows and shrugging your shoulders isn't acting.

If you're going to do a concept week, you need to know how to work it.

There is nothing to suggest any problems with Kat and Alfie in the Vic in upcoming spoilers, it's all forgotten. I think it was a misjudged attempt at 'comedy'. (I'd love to see Sharon back in the Vic though.)

He was taking tablets but George didn’t give him water so presume he choked to death. But looks like he was near death anyway.

Prawngate was revolting. I don’t need to see that. And there is nothing funny when you do get food poisoning from seafood. You feel bloody ill.
Eddies death was an anticlimax. But the body bag and Denise was 😭

In conclusion of the past week . . . the trailer for it was more exciting than the episodes !

A dodgy prawn giving the bride food poisoning, hilarious.

Vicki has a really awful wedding. Getting on the tube.
Ross nearly not marrying her. Zac hanging around looking murderous. Food poisoning. Jordon being run over outside the venue. Max asking Cindy to marry him half cut with Kim’s engagement ring. It was all just a nightmare ( not to mention Denise and George)

Although after complaining about the food poisoning storyline, one of the funniest scenes ever was in Bridesmaids when they all got food poisoning and had to run across the road in the wedding dresses and share the same toilet.

Yes! The trailer promised so much and in reality it was pretty disappointing.

Libby’s back this month for a ‘short stint’, not sure if that lasts until the flash forward or if she goes and comes back again towards the end of the year.

I thought the whole epsiode was just too sad all round tbh. Chelsea is literally falling apart (as would I be tbf) and looks a complete wreck. Jack crying. Denise crying. Gina crying. I mean, it's just too much.
