I like your idea of Bea being the resident weirdo. She could definitely be a background character that does occasional odd things like paint her front door an outrageous colour.

I didn’t mind Bea at first , then I didn’t like her and now she’s jumped the shark (or the writers have !)
she clearly has issues from everything hasn’t she.
No wonder her last landlord chucked her out.

Exactly! A wacky character like Mary the punk. Who can then be brought in for storylines or simply exist. World of possibilities there.

I think she lost any chance of redemption when she took out a credit card in Honey's name. Honey forgave that and believes her now, and it's quite hard to believe even Honey is that much of a mug. (As Billy said, as if he'd use an app!)

But her issues make her interesting, to me. She’s unravelling now telling about her mum being a drunk, leaving her and all her mum’s boyfriends. Add the knitted dolls voodoo and she could be fascinating. A new age hippy weirdo with crystals practising reiki. No offence to new age types!

So, Nicola pulls her trump card with keeping the cctv footage but what can Suki and Eve now do?

Yes, I do agree that a different type of character is good and Bea fits that bill, but the credit card thing was bad and Honey ended up paying for her own HRT!
Maybe bring in an eccentric person without all that going on! Minty had a g/ friend who was a bit woo at times ( Josie Lawrence played her )
I liked her character

They definitely read our threads re cctv footage then! The club has form though : Ruby used it against Stacey and doctored it. Nic won’t need to do that here !

I just find Bea too cartoon-like.

If they had dialled down the crazy a bit I might’ve warmed to the character, but she’s just so obviously completely bonkers and a nasty piece of work, surely everyone (even slightly ditsy Honey) would’ve seen it by now. It’s just all a bit silly at this point.

I agree that Bea could in theory have been interesting. But she is totally panto and really annoying.

I think they wanted Honey to be 'quirky' but she just says the odd daft thing. And then lets headcases take advantage of her!

They had a Poppy once ( friend of someone ) who was funny and quirky. She was around during the baby swap with Ronnie , so going back a bit.

I think RA is wrong for the role. She always comes across like she's about to launch into Audrey Hepburn.

Harry was decent today. Although not sure what they will have to do for Nic to stay quiet. Drug dealing ? Something dodgy to do with sukis busines?
I hated Nicolas dress and they all looked a bit silly. You wouldn’t be in that jumper in 38c today ! 😆

Did Suki say ‘ I’ll sell number 31?’ Is that Jean’s rental ?
Or did she mean her own house ( I feel that’s unlikely , because where would the foster children go, they have already assessed the house she’s in and where would they move to?) She could do equity release maybe ?
Although I bet she’ll be doing some dodgy things for Nicola now anyway. Not good.

I actually liked Nicola's jumpsuit today, apart from the lopsided one shoulder top part. It should have just been a nice balances off the shoulder top!

I do actually like how she dresses most of the time. She has a great figure IMHO.

I remember the controlling dentist. He was having an affair with one of the sisters, I can’t remember her name, started with a H I think.
The Jay and Honey story was really weird. If the genders were reversed it would have been a definite no-no.

You can tell today's episode was filmed 3 weeks ago - can you imagine them wearing all those polyester Christmas outfits in record breaking heat!

Will can't be Billy and Honey's son, he actually has brain cells.

Harry's come good, I'm pleased about that.

Will may possibly record Bea, on his phone or something, when she's having a mad moment, which is 90% of her screen time so he has plenty of opportunity to catch her out. It's basically all in Will's hands now. Honey needs proof before she will believe anyone, because she has put all her trust in this newcomer that has been proven to commit fraud 🙄

Poor Jagz , he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but Suki properly threw him under the bus .

They never mention Keerat anymore. Ash & Jags only come up when it suits another storyline.

Yes. Habiba and Iqra were the 2 sisters. I think they were somehow related to Masoud because they were staying in his house whilst he was in Pakistan.

I remember them, very pretty girls but very thin characters who didn’t last very long.

Talking if characters of yesteryear, I watched a bit of classic EE not long ago on a very dull day 😆 and it was an episode when there was all the secret luuurve affair drama with Christian and Masood’s oldest son who’s name I’ve forgotten because he was an annoying and drippy character

I liked Masood & Zainab…and Tamwar ❤️
