The JoshCar love affair was just so cringe. Hopefully this is it, very short lived.
I do worry for the safety of Mini Mo though, that was a very angry face Jasmine at the end there 😳

Oscar, no. I actually like Jasmine. I’ve a soft spot for a sob story, even if she has violent tendencies.
Just starting on last nights, maybe I won’t like Jasmine in 20 minutes.

Does Phil not care about the arches?
Wasn’t mark going to use the arches for his cars once ? Has that all stopped now ?

Far too much Jazz hands Josh. I simply can't believe that when they are auditioning for actors that this is the best they find. I'm wondering if the actor is a just a normal straight man who likes a pint and the football and they told him to act very camp.

I think Josh has been written to be a manipulator, he certainly acts very manipulative, nothing he does comes across as genuine. Same as Jasmine though I guess

Save Little Mo! Glad to see I am not the only one (aside from a couple of others) who’s concerned about the cat!

Jazz hands Josh is a manipulative attention seeking little c u next Tuesday. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s jealous of Jasmine. Won’t be missed when he toddles off by train/found under the cafe floor or elsewhere. We need another murder on the square.

I don't think Josh is manipulative. I don't think the actor has it in him to do anything that complicated😆

If they really have set things up like that (Jasmine is secretly a saint, Josh the bad twin) I really don't care. They are not interesting enough for this. The way they are playing it like a Carry On film doesn't really indicate much of a subplot.

I don't think either are saints/sinners they are both awful, full of spite and jealousy. It makes no sense that they would introduce Zoe's twins, have her desperate for them to then have her basically ignore them. When will she do some mothering?
Josh went after Oscar, maybe it was his facial expression but it came across as manipulative and nasty. It didn't come across as a genuine love. He then blurted out the secret in a way that seemed vengeful, which could be understandable seeing as Jasmine was being celebrated on what was both their birthday, and it was their first birthday with their new found family. He had no remorse and even went skulking round to Oscar, it actually made me say eurgh, and it was such a good scene prior with Max, Cindy and Oscar "everyone's tried to kill you Cindy".

I think so too. Although Jasmine has behaved appallingly she has been hurt badly in life, constantly rejected. I wonder if little Josh played a part in her being sent away, twin rivals.
I dated a twin once, he had a weird toxic relationship with his brother.

So much shouting and anger.
I can understand Chelsea’s anger, but she did admit to Ian that was partly to blame and is now saying it’s all on him.
Not sure where he’d sit legally with any of this.
Although seeing him with a beer must have been triggering for her.
As for the whole Oscar triangle , it’s obvious he won’t be able to resist jazz hands. I did give him a ‘ Brownie point ‘ for going back to see Jasmine and not running away.
Showed a degree of maturity most youngsters would have ran away from !

I think part of the problem is that it's badly written, the twins are badly characterised and the acting is subpar. It's hard to know what Jasmine and Josh are supposed to be transmitting and it's all been played as Carry On Walford. We even had Oscar hiding behind a curtain yesterday.

He’s vengeful though, spiteful? Definitely doesn’t seem like brotherly love towards Jasmine. Jealousy?

Love triangle stories in soaps can be really effective and history has shown us this. But this one has no emotional stakes and some of the acting is poor. Similarly, when Jasmine called Zoe ‘mum’ for the first time (in today’s episode) I felt nothing about what should have been a poignant moment,

Jasmine has grown on me too. Even though the actress isn’t great.

Agreed re “mum”. I thought she’d been called that before by Jasmine.

I’ll say it again… I hope Little Mo is safe! Show more of the cat please. It has acting and plot line potential. Maybe it could be pregnant?

Jasmine has grown on me too but that could just be in comparison to Jazz hands. Agree there is something manipulative about him. All the sad eyes and "oh little me" noises is really making me want to punch the telly.

But who's the daddy?

Maybe the Beales will adopt a male Tom cat. Or Lauren and Pe-tah will for the kids.

I’m exactly the same! I rarely get annoyed at characters but he’s twisting my melon man!
