I just felt for Chelsea blaming herself and yes I’d have done it too. Wasn’t Josh supposed to be minding Jordan or did Chelsea shout at him after that? Child free weddings/childcare at them lesson there maybe.

Not sure who Ian hires , Johnny isn’t cutting it and he asks Kathy for money to hire a different one apparently.
I doubt that Phil will let him
have Ritchie ! She is normally around for the murder charges isn’t she , or the financial crimes. Kathy was once married to Phil , so you never know I suppose

Yeah it’d probably be small beer for Ritchie a driving offence involving hitting and injuring a child. Will he no longer be Councillor Beale over this though?

Interesting re Kathy involvement she might call in favour from Phil. I forgot Kathy and Phil were Ben’s parents.

I suppose that Ian will lose his seat now.

Will Elaine get it by default?

Kat asked Phil to hire Ritchie for Zoe once and pay for her! I wouldn’t be too shocked if Kathy asks him for help, but considering their chequered past with Ian , he may not be interested!

E’laine may get it ? Or wouid they need a new election ?

No, Kathy and Phil don’t have much to do with each other. Ian stays out of his way as well!
Once Ben left to do time , they don’t interact at all.

Today’s episode was pretty terrible but maybe not as bad as yesterday’s. 60 seconds in and we got the old ‘burnt cake joke’ and Alfie hamming it up beyond ham.

But Kat and Oscar were good in their scene, and so were Ian and Chelsea.

So, Zoe and the cat are back. Does she know Max & Cindy are engaged? She was all over Max not long ago.

LOL@ Jazz Hands Josh. His confession at the end of today’s episode was cringe. It might’ve scraped a pass at GCSE Drama, but only just. What drama school do they find these young ‘uns?

Let’s be honest - the twins arent characters anyone would miss, are they? I hope they both turn against Oscar now and decide on a looooong, bonding twins trip around the world, exiting in a black taxi to the airport (costing about £250…never understood it!) and never returning.

Kat was on good form today - “whatever queer tv drama you think you’re starring in needs to stop now” made me giggle. Does she have to wear that massive waist belt with every outfit, though?

Good to see George is at least setting foot inside his money pit restaurant today. I don’t know where the writers are taking the Knight family storyline-wise, but it’s all a bit pointless and tedious at the moment. The only good thing about George & Nic’s scenes currently are when we catch a glimpse of gorgeous Ivy (all that hair!😍).

The Ian & Chelsea hug scene made me a bit teary, I’ll admit, although in general I just want to tell Chelsea to get it together and stop acting like a bloody teenager. And can Denise just tell her family she’s ill?! Why doesn’t anyone ever tell anyone anything in EE?!

I am glad that jazz hands did fess up. Maybe even the writers have had enough of the twins and speeded it all up. They do need a trip to Thailand traveling far anway and not just to southend. Soon ish would be good, but Partick saying that Oscar was a Truman may mean that he stays on ? ..

Oscar needs new clothes. That brown shell suit is just awful.

Zoe hasn’t been too bad lately. Given more fluffy material suits her , although I suppose she’ll get involved with this latest drama.
Kat was funny today. On form.

Chelsea has always been a bit immature. Old head one was involved with drugs once , getting together with Gray, even had a fling with Jack and Jack. Then a bit part for ages and ages and now all this with the previously invisible son. Who is actually doing well for such a young actor. More believable than jazz hands.

I'm trying to think of another way Oscar could 'be a Truman'. He'd be better off without either of them but if it has to be one - NOT Jasmine. She definitely needs to hike off to Thailand. Zoe could go with her.

Maybe Jasmine will flounce. I hope she doesn’t go and come back with revenge on her mind. Had all that before. Just going off with the little one bag is enough.

The thing that made me laugh last night was when George goes full confession to Phil, about feeling guilty over his dad's death. Then Phil just basically says, no you're fine, you didn't do it and anyway he deserved it. Phil has not missed his vocation as a priest!

Phil was great wasn’t he! I found that funny too.

Surprised she wants to do this reality show as it’s a lot with three children and they are not older ones. It’s a grueling schedule as well. Good luck to her though.
They are bound to do a cockney knees up dance with barrow boys wearing braces !

I heard a rumour she was doing it. As you say 80s it's very hard work, I think they start training in August. I guess she's had enough of being at home with the kids now 😆

I seriously hope that cat is safe! Don’t let Jasmine harm it.
