Plus a dish involving car keys and martinis could turn the banquet into a scene from Caligula. Susan George and Anthony Andrews could end up frolicking on a lazy Susan.

I'd burst work if they did that to me.

As it is I'm gonna struggle to see tomorrows live as I've a poxy board meeting

TBF it was useful, they were warning us about potential power cuts from just after MasterChef!

Sunshine on leith. Football song. Think he could link that

or perhaps not.

He does not do puddings really in his restaurant. So he had better step up.

Not one of those restaurants where the choice is:

Lychees and cream
Toffee apple
Shop-bought ice-cream

No puddings at all

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 19:32

I used to live not so far from an all you can eat Chinese restaurant that had jelly & ice cream as the one and only dessert option. Was fab.

LaMarschallin · 04/03/2026 19:34

"Not too offensive"
Music to every chef's ears

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 19:34

I think for the purposes of this series they should turn that fecking ice--cream machine into HAL from 2001. Have it speak to them in a really creepy yet passive aggressive way.

'Did you want your ice-cream to freeze, Jun? I'm sorry about that.'

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 19:35

You’d just bring your own wouldn’t you?

PotterHead1985 · 04/03/2026 19:36

So whilst hannah is clearly a very good cook, I get the impression she is not really gbm banquet material

Yer a chef Harry… ?

PotterHead1985 · 04/03/2026 19:37

Harry potter. Why am I not surprised. Honestly to me a Scottish actor or scenes filmed in Scotland (but not specifically SET in scotland) are fierce loose connections

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 19:39

Personality on a plate again! Who had that on their bingo card?

PotterHead1985 · 04/03/2026 19:40

My personality on a plate. Pish off!!

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 19:40

'A pub dish.' Not even 'restauranty.' Oof.

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 19:41

Personality on a plate.

that’s me every night whilst screeching at a small child who has decided that food is better on the floor

personality on the floor

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 19:42

Orry seems to be almost mentoring Jun.

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 19:43

Don’t think jun has ever made a pudding. But he should have practiced more

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 19:44

Jeez jun

EsmaCannonball · 04/03/2026 19:45

That looks like something you could buy in Marks and Spencer.

Sunbird24 · 04/03/2026 19:46

Yeah, I’m not seeing the link to the brief there either

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 19:46

Sure does

littlbrowndog · 04/03/2026 19:47
