Corrin’s dessert looks and sounds lush!

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 19/03/2026 19:53

He annoys me (as does Catweasel, tbf), but Corrin's food has been pretty good tonight.

Sunbird24 · 19/03/2026 19:54

Yes, and at least he’s got all his dishes out with minimal help or additional time

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 19/03/2026 19:54

Nice....oooft.

Sunbird24 · 19/03/2026 19:57

No surprises there

Is cuisson the cheffy word du jour? It keeps coming up on mc too.

They've been saying it for years on this programme. I think it's fine because it seems to apply to things that need to be cooked absolutely perfectly eg meat or fish, not things like a puree of something. How's the cuisson seems to be a quick way of asking if it's been cooked in a perfect way. French words are ok in the kitchen, it's historical.

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 19/03/2026 20:00

Well, Corrin through, as expected, but Jon won a couple of courses. Good competition between them, even if it didn't grab me.

PotterHead1985 · 20/03/2026 22:14

Catching up now. Why are we double jobbing chefs this year on both gbm and mc??

PotterHead1985 · 20/03/2026 22:51

That's the second time this week I've seen Jon's ash crackers

They did back in the strikes apparently! I’ve watched Pride, it’s a fun film

Pride is brilliant, give it a watch - and a true story, I remember it happening!

It’s one of my favourite films and I cry every time I watch it.

LaMarschallin · 24/03/2026 17:11

Inconvenient timing tonight.
I'll watch on iplayer after The Archers finishes then there's that annoying gap before MCTP.

I came to post exactly this. Half past 6!!! I'd barely be in the door if this damn ear infection hadn't kept me off work.

And then half 7 to 9 to twiddle the thumbs and try not to fall asleep before MC!!! Come on BBC planners, use yer heads!! 🤣😮‍💨

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 24/03/2026 18:21

Half 6!! 🙀. Thanks for the heads-up. I may or may not be watching along. Will do my best....

PotterHead1985 · 24/03/2026 18:24

I swear. On what planet is half 6 acceptable.

OP posts:
PotterHead1985 · 24/03/2026 18:50

OK that looks like a sunflower

OP posts:
CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 24/03/2026 18:50

Evening! Just switched on. It looks like a sunflower! Have no idea what's in it, but hot soup and ice cream sounds...... Interesting.

OP posts:
CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 24/03/2026 18:54

Well, can't go wrong with potatoes, except when they're over-salted. It didn't look as appetising as the sunflower, but potatoes!!

Is this the Ridley Scott episode? 🤣
