I assume it is dragging on as they done this stupid flash forward and he is one of the candidates

Oh Lordy, I’d forgotten all about that flash forward episode. It was just the one wasn’t it, with Betsy-lamb in the nick? And nowt more has been said/shown?

GenZstare · 06/03/2026 19:03

Tbh I could have done with Sally popping in when I had a new born, I didn't have a clue and family were no help.
Jodie seems so nice and believable, I hope Lily tells Bethany at least.
That tin of money Todd has hidden in the kitchen cupboard is so noisy! I think Theo knows about it but is keeping quiet because it was placed at in front of the coffee jars a few episodes ago when Todd opened the cupboard and he looked surprised.

eggandonion · 06/03/2026 20:49

Noisy money is no use. Nice quiet paper money is the way forward. I wonder if he has a bit stashed away in post office savings. If he was Irish he would have a handy credit union account.

Todd’s got about 74p in that tin plus a euro and a couple of buttons !

Love Sally

the80sweregreat · 07/03/2026 05:24

I so wished that Todd would tell Theo to stuff his precious birthday and just move out.

And me! They're doing the abuse well cos I'm on edge everytime I see Todd in the flat and feel anxious when Theo appears.
I think Todd has 'trauma-bonded' to Theo and can't get out of the submissive mindset he's in, almost like Theo is a father figure he can't stand up to - that's my amateur psychology! I've been through similar and you just lose all respect for yourself that you can't think straight, you're permanately confused.
At least Todd has the funeral office to go to, for now!

Shellingbynight · 07/03/2026 08:27

You're right, Theo talks to him like a tyrannical father who must be obeyed. Including the 'there's always something with you' when Todd said he needed new shoes. Todd never had a dad in his life AFAIK. The sooner this is over the better, I want to see normal Todd and his sarcastic quips.

TheFifthTellytubby · 07/03/2026 09:59

Didn't Theo discover the tin containing the money and put it back to use against Todd later, or did I imagine that? Anyway...on the subject of new events, who remembers Norris Cole volunteering as a steward at the Manchester Commonwealth Games, wearing his official uniform everywhere and going on about it all the time? 😁

Andepeda · 07/03/2026 10:46

I thought Theo found the tin ages ago and took the notes out, leaving just the coins. Since then however, Todd still appears to think it's a secret, so either he's confused...or quite possibly I am.

Shellingbynight · 06/03/2026 08:44

My heart sinks every time I see Todd in the flat, because you know Theo is going to appear, Todd is going to be pressured into doing something daft which will make things worse.

Todd's face when George said "what's that saying... you never realised you were happy till you're not"😕

George talked about renouncing the money so why doesn't he do that, then Annie will not have a case and he can stop worrying about his dad's good name.

Yeah I can't fathom why George didn't renounce the money straight away.

Also, wise words from George, and poor Todd. Sad

Todd should have stashed his money tin at work, not in the flat.

Oh yes LOL, I do remember Norris doing this.

He became verrrry annoying! 😂

I agree.

Soap characters never seem to display much in the way of common sense though, do they?🙄😂

So do I

zanahoria · 08/03/2026 22:15

I couldn't help laughing when Theo upped Todd's pocket money to £200 as it was his birthday. usually he has about a tenner to do all the shopping

Shellingbynight · 09/03/2026 21:52

I see it was a popular episode and everyone is keen to comment (me neither 😆)

Todd and Theo. Round and round they go. At least Todd has reacted now.

I was momentarily confused as I had just watched a Classic Corrie so when Steve started saying to Tim "I do love her but it's not the right time to marry her" I thought "Michelle". Then I realised it was Cassie.

Nothing much else happened did it?

SabreIsMyFave · 09/03/2026 21:55

As has been said, more abuse by Theo, horrible man! WTF did he think he was doing, getting Todd to pay for the meal when he knows Todd has no money? To humiliate him I suppose?

Todd did react yes, but he is obviously going to soften again when Theo starts sobbing and saying he is soooooooooooo sorry! 🙄

If Todd just lets this go again, and makes it up with Theo AGAIN, I'm going to throw something at the bloody telly!

Theo is a monster. I loath that man so much.

OnTheBoardwalk · 09/03/2026 22:32

Lauren gobbing the orange slice with her fingers in her mouth then serving made me feel ill. She might as well have just licked the glasses

i bet she held the glasses by the rims, before she threw one, as well

im really not a clean freak but fingers in mouths when serving and licking fingers when cooking make me feel ill

HaddyAbrams · 09/03/2026 22:41

Do we really need all the dog shit/piss story? Yuck.

Cardinalita90 · 10/03/2026 00:18

I'd love Theo to be killed off but I'm fairly sure it'll be Carl. He doesn't have any storyline or relationship with other street residents that doesn't revolve around Debbie's money now. There's nowhere else for his character to go so makes sense to kill him off.

No way it'll be Ma Driscoll with all the Megan/Will drama about to come out soon.
