I was happy to hear Dr Harper getting a mention in tonight’s episode, I really want his character to reappear on the street.

Jodie wants Shona's life but i think if she actually had it she would be bored stiff. She seems to be a fantasist, and a nasty selfish one at that.

Yeah, that was the kind of thing I was on about. And Minty I think it was - when he was in it - mentioned England being in the Football World Cup Semi Final... And there may have been a mention of all the gold medals England got in the 2012 Olympics. Can't remember who said that. (That was Eastenders too.)

I agree about Jodie. Telling that lass in the hospital that she was Shona, the baby (Harper) was hers, and David was her husband. Majorly creepy Single White Female vibes!

I also found all the Tilsleys and Platts turning up at the hospital quite funny. Especially when they were still there hours later on the car park! 😆

I felt sorry for Lou today, with The Debster telling her bog off. But I don't think Debbie means it, it's just her illness I think.

I would also like to see Doctor Harper back as a character...

I did laugh at Shona suggesting they send Doctor Harper a pie in the post! (Coz they don't sell pies in the south!) 😆 And David saying 'could you be more stereotypically NORTHERN?!'

She’s going to murder Shona and take over her boring mundane life I reckon lol. Not sure where they’re going with Carla and the baby do you think they’ll end up adopting her? Seems funny how we’ve suddenly heard how Carla wanted to be a mother. BTW where did Bobby go I can’t remember (tbh I zone out quite alot with the tedious storylines)

It makes me laugh when it’s winter time in real life but the trees still have leaves, the sun is out and it’s clearly still the middle of summer and autumn.

I don't think Jodie really even wants Shona's life, she just wants to destroy it. As a PP said, she'd be bored stiff.

The Platt chat is always good value. But it was a fairly boring episode because we knew Harper would be okay. She has to survive so there can be more baby angst, including Jodie pretending she's her mother and kidnapping her.

Do we know anything about that random teenager Jodie was talking to a few episodes back? I feel like I’m missing something!

Jodie seemed to have been nanny for her and her sibling, and had abruptly left. Probably because she was trying to do what she's now doing to Shona and David - shag the dad and take over the mum's life. She seems to want to break up happy families.

I felt sorry for poor Lily when Nick was recanting all the things that could go wrong with Harper's operation to Gail. Obviously a quick way of building tension for the audience. As they all decided to go to the hospital Lily was just told to go to school.
I presume the Bistro was closed for the day and Sarah didn't need to go to work. Carla seems to have decided to be a stay at home mum so not sure who actually runs the factory now.

Bobby went to visit R Si and never came back? I liked Bobby and really wanted him to be Frankehs dad.

All that greenery in the scenery in the Christmas All Creatures and knowing the actors are sweating buckets wrapped up in their winter clothes. Well done to the MUAs keeping them looking dry.

Jodie is proper creepy.

Oh no, Bobby and R Si can stay out in the Med (or wherever they are) for ever as far as I’m concerned!

Enjoying see more of Steve and Cassie together, just normal everyday things.
Mary has been bearable this week, showing Carla how to cuddle Connie and telling Tracey off in The Rovers.

Yeah, I remember 2018, when we had the Beast from The East and Storm Emma. It was very snowy (deep snow) and very cold temperatures all over the country for about a week and a half in early March. They were filming late April's scenes then, and by late April it was warm and sunny - about 22C (72Fm) and they were walking around in thick coats, and gloves, and walking on snow (with snow falling.) I think a lot of people at that point, realised Corrie is filmed 6-7 weeks in advance! 😆

Not sure how this life stealing malarky works but if I were to nick one it would not be Shona's. Her son is in jail for murdering her husband's first wife and her step son is in for arson and also has form for racism and terrorism. Her husband is a weird cross between a teenage brat and a grumpy old man and her step daughter is a right little madam. The highlight of her life is ear wigging gossip in Roys.

Poor Toddington if George closes underworld He’ll have no money at all so won’t be able to pay back Theo’s £200. Can somebody tell me why the hell they get rid of good characters like Deb and keep flamin Izzy !!! What the hell is she in it for ? She hasn’t had a storyline since she shagged Gazza back in 1999 !!!

Shona’s life is pretty angst ridden and David is funny, but hard work! Why her mad half sibling wants this I’ve no idea. Agree with the poster below.

Now Underworld would be an interesting name for an undertakers! 🤣
