Mary’s line about Brit awards was advertisement in run up to show. I think Patti Clare, who plays Mary, is a good comedic actor.

I am confused by Megan’s pregnancy. Surely she’d be showing by now and questions being asked by Daniel and her other friends ? It’s gone off the boil, but maybe she’ll be the killer and written out of it. I can’t see how it can progress and Ma Driscoll won’t let her precious Will go off with her either ( because that is a stupid idea as well as wrong !)
Jodie and her games are boring. She is an another nasty one. I hope David doesn’t get caught up too much in her revenge plans, but it’s going that way.

it feels to me like there are scenes missing the last few episodes. Like they went straight from Jodie eying up the ring in the salon to Shona coming home saying she couldn’t find it - seems like there should have been a scene where she realised it was lost? Or did I miss that? Also with Jodie and the young girl - i had no idea what was going on there!

Also if Steve marries Lindsey Corkhill it will be his 6th Wife! (8th marriage). Will he have overtaken Gail then?

The woman who dropped off the baby , we didn’t even see her face did we! Lisa took the baby in as if she was an Amazon delivery didn’t she! All very odd. I don’t know Carla’s back story at all, so no idea why she has this child etc.

Oh blimey, so Carla and Lisa now have a baby that the prison guard who Carla's brother Rob was shagging gave birth to? And the baby's granny just dumped the baby at this random house. Maybe I'm a bit thick but why can granny not look after the baby? Better than just dumping her.

If I was suddenly unable to look after my baby, like if I went to prison, I wouldn't have had her handed over to brother and his partner without even bloody asking them! (And when I hadn't seen them or spoken to them for 2 years!) Agree @the80sweregreat the baby was dropped off like an Amazon delivery! 😆

Yes, Big Jim is dead so he is! As @JohnBullshit said, it's a bit annoying that we hear of these old characters dying in absence - like Les Battersby did recently. Why do they even have to die? (Like, now....?) I am sure both Jim and Les were only in their mid to late 60s.

Also, Ma Driscoll giving drinks away 'on the house' AGAIN. Around 8 whiskeys! That would have been about £40 to £45 in the till. Unbelievably stupid! And they looked like doubles, so would have possibly cost much more than that!

Had a look at Steve’s past , his had a lot of wives and doubled up on a few and sounds like a cad lol

It’s all cheaply made now isn’t it. If they didn’t show the woman talking , she doesn’t earn as much.
They cut out things.
The drinks on the house is ridiculous, it’s the same on EE too.

Steve has certainly been 'unlucky' with his marriage choices!

It does look so cheap nowadays. I've just been watching Classic and there is no comparison.
