Are Beryl’s sweats due to the menopause?

Why on earth are a bunch of nuns surprised, that an elderly ill nun, wants to join her heavenly bridegroom.

Surely Beryl must have known she was nearing the menopause? And no expert but isn’t conception very unlikely in the years leading up to the menopause too?

Her being oblivious to the menopause is as stupid as Rosalind being dumb to the risks of the pill. They are supposed to be midwives.

Well NHS advice is to stay on contraception till fifty five

Is it?! Although yes, thinking about it I know a few ladies who have become 'geriatric mothers' because they thought it couldn't possibly happen!

Probably just to be on the safe side though, they would be in hot water if they said you can stop at 50 but there was a rare case of pregnancy based on that advice.

I'm bored so far.
