omg my husband is obsessed with those blokes in the helmets, it's driving me bananas because he keeps asking what they're for. Someone tell me so I can shut him up.

Does anyone else think that all the jumps look the same? Basically jumping and spinning, and the only differences how elegant they are at taking off and landing.

I think they are first aiders. I’ve been trying to work it out all week and one of the guys had ambulan… on his arm in a close up earlier.
The hard hats are cracking me up. I get that they’ll need them if they have to go on the ice but you’d think they could take them off for a bit.

Yes I agree - seen one seen em all - I think it’s only if you do it your know what it takes and appreciate it - to me the landings are never effortless - they look like they whizz off to cover the clonk down

It's the US, their sports broadcasting focuses on entertainment. I watched a bit of NBC the other night, trying to find some figure skating coverage, and it wasn't a patch on the BBC (aside from them actually showing it). The BBC always has the best commentary teams, which is why it's annoying that they've only got two channels running during these games.

apple Snoop did Paris 24 too. Totally random (very well paid) career path for him. He's friends with Martha Stewart and she's next to him. I think he's living his best life these days.
