The Sun is reporting that Shane Richie said more Moons are returning (as well as Jake). So it sounds as if Spencer is coming back from Australia. Of all the characters to bring back.😕

How many more Moons are there ?

Only ones I can think of that we've met before were the Cousin With The Snow Machine (played by Andrew Paul who was Dave Quinnan in "The Bill" and Eastenders seems to be a landing pad for the Ex Bill actors ) and Aflies ex wife ( when he couldn't marry Kat the first time , she came round to the Vic , wasn't all Divorce , yeah that'll cost you like Rockys ex wife . She was very much I want you to be happy Alfie so yes, I'll sign but maybe she's had a massive personality transplant)

Micheal is dead , Danny is dead, Nana Moon is dead.

I have wiped the missing Moons from my brain. I don't even remember Mr Snow Machine. The only good ones were Michael and Nana, both dead. Sadly Michael is too dead for even EastEnders to dig up.

I can’t believe that writer had the audacity to put Spencer in the same league as Peggy and Michelle in terms of viewers’ feelings!

Spencer wasn’t terrible , but most of his storylines were around Vicki. If he is just going to pine after her along with Zac and Ross , it’ll be boring.
Why bring him back and for who ? Not many women around for him and where will he live ?

The actor who played Spencer was as good at acting as he was at dancing. At least it'll be a recast presumably, as he no longer acts.

I’d rather another Mitchell ( maybe Louise and Peggy or even Lisa ) than more Moons. Only good one was Micheal and he is definitely dead.
Scarlett with Janine may be good, turn her evil !
She was pretty good , but she’s been gone for a few years now.

So , a new head Spencer when the majority of people can’t recall the old head one much !

Original Head Spencer ( there was a link to him somewhere) is a Solicitor IRL ( it says in his resume he spent "10 years in Broadcasting" so probably earned enough to pay his training costs but doesn't want to be known as "Oh you're the bloke what was Spenca Moon?" )

Shrieking Harpie , her voice is like knives in my eardrums while the nails run down the blackboard . I mute when she's on Classic Eastenders .
And poor Philth is too vunerable and down trodden at the moment , he might let her move in (Julie could murder her though..<hopeful> )

I loved Michael and even David Essex wasn’t too bad ( if short lived) but they killed M off ! :(

It is a long time since we saw Spencer isn't it - 20 years? I was hoping to never see him again.

The producer messed up Zoe's return so badly, he's unlikely to succeed with the likes of Spencer. And it means more screentime for Alfie, Vicky and Ross who don't exactly set the world on fire.

Mr Snow Machine ( I think was Max /Maxwell ) rolled up for Aflie and Kat's Christmas DAy wedding to give them the snow they dreamed of .
As everyone knows , the chance of a white Christmas in East Larndan is the same as a Happy Christmas on Eastenders

I don’t mind Alfie tbh. Minority opinion , but I do like his persona and people seem to like him. Kat has become too miserable , but I suppose that’s understandable really given the scripts she has to do lately.
Spencer was a lightweight , Ross has some potential , but he’ll probably just get upset when he discovers that Vicki is seeing Zac , because she is bound to cheat on him I guess 🙄

Worst Branning ever was Derek whose demise on Christmas Day was one of the better deaths !
Cant believe that Kat could even look at him let alone sleep with him.

Three guys fighting over Vicki seems... unfeasible somehow!

I do remember Spencer and Nana Moon. He was harmless enough and like Anna and Freddie, Spencer and Vicki took off together into the sunset. It was sweet , but he wasn’t well loved. Not even like Alfie is .. ( well, maybe by me ! )

All the women letching after Dirty Den was a mystery to me
He had the lovely but damaged Angie , Dennis's mother , his mistress Jan (very upper class ,independent , complete opposite to poor Ange ) then Chrissie , an affair with Kate (Phils wife) , blonde haired woman who was in "Angels" (blast from the past ), Michelle , Sam Mitchell and Zoe

He was a lanky , badly dressed , eye rolling piece of piss but charmed the ladies !

The late Dirty Den’s appeal is a bit like Max’s. Women fall at his feet, but we all wonder why! ( although I do get the Max appeal more than DD , but would still swerve him! Not that I’m his type anyway. Too old )

Jan was very upper class wasn’t she. DD was her bit of rough!

I think Den's appeal was the impossibility of pinning him down, he had an air of danger which appeals to some women. - And he owned a pub which helps!

Vicki is just... drab.

80s you're right Dirty Den was quite like Max in terms of 'strange appeal'. And he hasn't even got a pub - or a job!

The most mysterious one is Phil but I suppose it's due to his never-ending supply of cash.
