Think Julie's a natural actor, I like her face but not her whispering voice, hope she stays in EE even if Nigel does pass away.

Julie annoys people , but she is being very selfless regarding selling their house in Scotland and not having anywhere permanent to live once Nigel is in the care home. He could live for years. She should try and keep her job going , but she is never there. If she stays on, renting in Walford is expensive and I doubt Phil will want her around forever.
She really is looking out for Nigel first, but her own situation isn’t great.

I agree that the actress who plays Julie is natural - I never feel like I’m watching a performance if you see what I mean - but I can’t see any future for her in EE so I expect she’ll go off and live with her son.

They seem to be able to film round Steve McF's panto stints nowadays without it being too noticeable he's gone.

Whereas Shane seems to disappear regularly for other work, not sure the producer thought that one through really, it's quite noticeable when the landlord of the Vic isn't there!

Julie isn’t Phil’s type at all so doubt he’d go there. Agree South, she’s a fantastic actress because you forget she’s acting. Nigel is the same. How EE manage to find such class acts and simultaneously serve us complete dross like Jasmine is a mystery.

Kat and Alfie were broke a few months ago and said the Vic was barely turning a profit but finding the money for a last minute ticket to Oz is not a problem. What other work does Shane do outside of panto? I can’t imagine who would employ him tbh.

Unbelievable as it is that Shane gets other work, when Alfie was running all over Europe looking for Zoe, it was because he was doing this

We've re watched some of the Breaking Dad episodes (Florida) I know it's staged and Bradders has signed up for this but I do think "Leave the poor bloke alone"

That feels like it was the worst episode in years.

Alfie and Kat are going round in circles having the same conversation every episode. Zoe, Spencer, Chrissie…

And more going round in circles with Jake and Zoe and Stalkergate, just to revisit ‘find Chrissie’. They really don’t know when to stop flogging a story to death.

And more bloody circles with Bea wittering on about Suki. Honey really isn’t that interesting a character to have all this focus on her.

And more drugs. Horrible episode all round.

Dh and I both said ‘ how big was that guy’ the one who knew where Jake’s narrow boat was! Handy that
I agree it washt a great episode. I suppose that Mark will be onto Ravi soon and work out who he is.

Agree terrible episode. Please no more Zoe I forgot how awful she was. If this Zoe/Jasmine/My boy storyline just disappeared over night with no resolution I would not care.
