They’ve got their quote of gay men in the show, so they won’t be adding anymore. Mark will likely soon be sleeping with Priya or Gina.

He's possibly just a rubbish actor then 😂

I must have got it totally wrong, I thought Priya was playing Mark as a way of helping Ravi out.

@alucard55 based on Mark's other mediocre scenes, I think option 2, bad actor, is probably right! He is actually quite close to Ross Kemp levels so I suppose not totally wrong for the part.

Priya was presumably trying to get to know Mark and Vicky so she could suss out what was going on. Ravi had said to her he didn't think Mark was onto him, but he wasn't entirely sure. But as with Jasmine, it is going to be hard for us to tell what is going on with Mark due to the flat acting.

I agree I’d rather them have had him killed off off screen than abandon Lexi especially with Ben in prison, I’m guessing that’s why Ben is being phased back in despite the actor being rumoured to be a massive pain in the arse

Today’s episode was the most enjoyable of the week because Chrissie returned and I think Tracy-Ann Oberman plays her brilliantly. But she and Jake left at the end and I hope it’s for good because the characters don’t fit in anymore.

I agree, the way Jay character was written was that he was devoted to Lexi and committed to his promise to Lola to always be her dad.

I haven't seen today's yet. Are we going to see Nigel again? I suppose he's moved to a different department now to vacate the room for Nugget. Poor Nugget, he hasn't had a lot of luck.

The best bits of today's episode are the Max troll, Tracey giving Chrissie some lip and Chrissie fake sobbing 😆

She’s going to live in Honey’s place (can’t remember if they’re in a flat or a house) and she’s going to play at being Honey… wear her clothes and answer to Honey/Mrs Mitchell to the builders and decorators 😬

Probably. But the way Ronni Ancona is playing Bea is all wrong for that story.

re Jay, he may still be killed off in a tragic accident so he can be airbrushed from history. I suppose for the moment they are keeping options open in case they want to recast.

As long as they hire a red head, it's all good. What about one of the lads who played the Weasley twins in Harry Potter, they're about the right age. Or even better, both of them in a jobshare, then there'd be no need for plot breaks due to holidays and panto.

I think if they killed off Jay there would need to be an appropriate amount of on screen grieving and quite rightly given how long the character has been around and his relationships with people. I don't think the storylines could accommodate that just now as there's so much confusing but boring nonsense.

New Jay will turn up in about 15 years. I’ll be really old then and will probably still be on here getting things wrong and wondering who people are.

It was a tad ridiculous I must say. I do hope the Zoe story will be over soon, but I guess there is a way to go yet with Jasmine.

The Chrissie storyline has been completely pointless. Other than that the looks great.

Bea over hearing Max and Lauren talking when she's in the garden and there's noise all about . Either she has bat like hearing or she can lip read.

I like they haven’t given Elaine a personality transplant. She does have a caring side, but is also overbearing, selfish and can get tunnel vision.

I'm so bored with the Zoe and Jasmine story. Now Alfie has gone off to do panto, presumably it will drag on until he's back so ages to go yet.

@80s, oh yes, the police came out quickly for E-laine 🙄. I did wonder a while back if she would get together with Ian but after today, I don't think so! The Beales and Max really don't seem too worried that Louie has given Ollie a massive black eye, it's all 'well that's kids'.

I liked E laine’s coat! It would look ridiculous on me, but it suits her. The police did rock up quickly! Must have been a quiet night for them !!

Glad Chrissie spelled it all out for Kat about what a twisted girl Jasmine is. Hopefully, she will wake up and smell the dust now and Jasmine can take Zoe's place in prison 🤞

Here’s hoping the video of Jasmine killing Antnee is found soon and it’ll be a wrap! After some angst I suppose , but hey , there is light at the end of this story .. we need to keep the faith here..
