I can’t remember anything about Joel, and I’m not really interested.

Cramp, do you mean Danny ? Joel was the one in court the other week. or was there another Joel back then ? I don’t remember any shootings or Mitchell’s being saved.

Bea is just a meddler isn’t she. She’ll tell Linda that Louie is the one who hit Ollie.
I do like how they roll their eyes at her ! She is different, I’ll give her that.

I was trying to think of a Joel 20 years ago. I am at a loss with Danny moon and what happened there with Andy hunter and the Mitchell’s. It’s vague, but Kat was involved too. The gangster years.
I have a feeling that Priya may be going down the same road with Mark jnr too. Trying to keep Ravi safe may actually lead to her being in danger with Mark.
Although I am only guessing this .

I’m another one who can’t recall Danny Moon. Priya don’t go there with Mark!

I bet it’ll be Priya having to marry Mark jnr and Ravi rescuing her ( as was the case with Kat and Alfie and Andy Hunter )! They like a recycled story and that was mega ( I actually remember this, but not Danny and Jake moon )

@the80sweregreat yes if only the producer would move on! We are being fed storylines with characters who left 20 years ago.

I do remember Danny, but it was all gangster storylines so I wasn't interested in any of it. And I am not interested in watching Jake and Alfie chew that fat about it.

I think Ravi took the beating so that he was telling the truth to Nugget (in a round-about way) that the guy who hit Nugget had got what he deserved.

@the80sweregreat Yes, I agree that Mark will use Priya to get at Ravi.

Of course! The subtleties were there with Ravi and Nugget but it went over my head a bit.
Problem is, Nugget will discover the truth eventually. He won’t care that the racists beat up his dad , he’ll want to know why nobody told him why he did it to him and now he had epilepsy as well as his kidney disease which needs dialysis. He will lash out. Go no contact. ( Start an aibu on mumsnet ‘ my dad didn’t tell me the truth ‘ .. on it goes. )..
I can’t remember how this all started anyway it’s been very twisty hasn’t it.

But I just remembered that yesterday they packed Jay off into the wide blue yonder with a fiancee and a baby. Bye Jay.

I'm sad Jay has definitely gone now, unless there is new head situation at some point in the future. But he wasn't enough of a big character for them to bother bringing him back i suppose, though I always liked him as he was free from the usual gangster, druggy, revenge stories. Sorry for Lola that he's gone, especially.

I expect you mean Lexi , but going from yesterdays letter , not sure I'd be happy letting her travel by train / underground from London to up North by herself during holidays as was mentioned .

Danny was dark haired and a bit of a loose cannon, Jake was more staid and sensible .
Danny had a thing with Ruby Allen ( Johnny was not impressed )
They were at Johnnys house in Essex ( large detached house with grounds probably Brentwood or Ongar ) there was a shoot out , IIRC Danny was shot .

Danny Moon killed Shazza's beloved Dennis.
He was ordered (by Big Bad Johnny Allen) to take out the Mitchell Bros in Epping Forest but Jake shot him, hence his little chat with Phil.

Why did Danny Moon kill Dennis?

Is Mark Jr possibly gay?

I think the Jay thing is really poorly done. The character wouldn't have abandoned Lexi. Didn't he promise Lola that he would always be Lexi's dad and is her legal guardian? If they didn't want the character back it could have been handled much better and true to the character.

Johnny Allen had physically threatened Shazza to get out of Walford with Dennis before midnight.
Dennis was also pals with Andy Hunter (who was killed by Johnny Allen by being thrown over a motorway bridge!)
so he attacked JA in revenge, but not enough to kill him (rookie mistake Dennis <shakes head>)
JA then got Danny Moon to stab Dennis, just as the New Year's fireworks were going off... he died in Shazza's arms (she was pregnant with Denny)

I had wiped all the Moon stuff from my mind. It was a terrible era, I don't want o relive it 20 years later!

Mark Jnr being gay... I hadn't thought of that. What made you think it @Alucard55 ?

Thanks @NowNumber5 I really couldn't face going down a Google hole with that one. I remember the Jonny Allen stuff but like the current storylines it seems all very complicated.

@Shellingbynight he didn't seem that fussed about Priya and he seems quite neutral for a Very attractive man.

I'm probably wrong!
