I wonder how Karen, Mitch and the girls are still surviving in Spain as the £50k stolen from Phil must be long gone. Bernie managed to swindle a load of cash from Suki before she left so there's that.

I don't know where Phil gets all that cash from nowadays. His businesses never seem that busy (the garage is shut half the time!) and he doesn't seem to dabble in criminality any more.

Phil is another mystery man with the cash. He hasn’t had a wife or a divorce for a while , so he must be doing alright! Julie must be paying the care fees now , maybe she did sell the Scottish place in the end.

I was thinking about Bianca and Sonia the other day too. Bali must be wondering what it’s done to deserve those two and Julia is one now as well!

I think Phil has a silent role in various criminal undertakings, money laundering etc that keeps the money rolling in. I imagine he has Richie on retainer for that reason! He clearly still has contacts in the underworld as he was able to ask around on behalf of Mark when he was looking for the grass.

My understanding of the relationship was from memory so you are probably correct !

Priya has pulled a blinder tonight! I think Ravi should take his family and leave the country.

Ravi is going to kill Mark or be killed by him, isn't he?

I don't think either Ravi or Mark are going to die. Unfortunately! At least that would be the end of this annoying storyline.

Completely nonsensical scenes with Mark crashing around at Ravi’s like the Incredible Hulk. As Priya said, what ‘paperwork’ was he expecting to find! All he needs to do is glance at Ravi’s phone and see his messages to Jack. At least Priya has a functioning brain unlike most of the inhabitants of the square.

Suddenly Avani and Nugget are at school - I thought they had left as they are always randomly around during the day.

Very odd care home Nigel’s in. You can just wander in and ask for Nigel, no security. Lexi is lovely with him though.

What is the point of Callum? He’s such a wet weekend.

Lovely to see Oscar. Him calling Ian “Brian” still makes me laugh.

Max and Oscar made me laugh today. It was a good episode , but I am now reviewing my own security seeing how fast Mark got through that door.
They clearly don’t have any nosy neighbours though , as he wasn’t quiet was he!

I think Priya's "Cross my heart" declaration to Mark means she's going to be the one who ends up dead (the full saying being "Cross my heart and hope to die" of course).

Remember how Sharon lied and swore something or other on Denny's life a year or so before he died?

Spooky woods time today ! Ravi was so good I thought, very believable. His obviously losing the plot.

am I right in thinking Phil was never into dealing? More theft, money laundering etc? I still don’t know how mark is so deep in this after being in the uk 2 mins

I don’t think Phil has ever dealt drugs? He was an addict at one point though. I think he is more into robbery, shifting stolen goods and setting up businesses for laundering.

It’s never been explained how and why Mark is so deep in with these drug lords when he’s apparently been in London 5 mins.

Ravi is acting like he's completely lost the plot now. His laugh was properly manic tonight 🤨

So the spooky woods were ‘Walford common’ which has a huge wooded area you can drive through and never meet another soul. Definitely not Epping Forest.

And then Phil, Vicki and Priya all walked into Epping Forest Walford common without a torch between them. The confrontation was ridiculous, like something out of a farce.

Good acting from Ravi though.

I don’t think Phil or Grant ever had anything to do with drug dealing. It was all dodgy MOTs and money laundering.

My favourite line was Priya to Ross "Let's not start a discussion on weird behaviour of our kids, yeah?" I love her.

There were some great lines in today's episode. I actually laughed out loud at Oscar when he answered the door to Max "It's the man who impregnated our Tanya" 😂

It got dark in the woods very quickly. There must be something else going on with Mark he's supposedly been living in the US but carries on like an East End gangster and seems to be quite deep with the criminals.

Did anyone else pick up Lauren saying 2026 is going to be a good year? Clue to new years perhaps.

And when he called Ian (Brian) a peado! I was surprised they got away with that.

The woods did go dark quickly, and yet everyone was brilliantly lit with bright light bouncing off Phil's forehead!
