Anyone watching this morning.

Must admit, found the half pipe snow boarding pretty boring to watch. However, really enjoyed the Super G and well done to the young Swiss lad who won, and made history by being the third person to do the triple.

He's doing more modern, contemporary dance which does involve throwing yourself to the floor. Not my favourite routine but I get what he's trying to do. Find all the gushing about the back flip a bit much, before it got banned there were a few skaters routinely doing it. I miss the split jumps too.

Lizzie Yarnold is describing the luge relay. I sounds like it could end up in a chaotic pile up, if it went wrong. !

A luge relay? I feel like that is going to be slightly disappointing compared to the image in my head.

Surya Bonaly actually got deductions for doing the backflip in the early 90s. She even taught herself to land on one foot to try and avoid deductions for a 2-footed landing.

Hers were much prettier than Mallinin's

The slider finishing their run hits a pressure pad to open the start gate for the next leg so you can't get more than 1 slider on the track at a time

That sounds a lot safer than I was picturing in my head- which was a long slidey version of the Wacky Races .

I love Luge and Skeleton- and (whispers, because things haven't been going to plan so far) we do have some world class performers in the skeleton.

TNT/Discovery are showing the Ice Dance free programme from the start. I think the BBC will probably start showing it later/ half way through

I agree with whoever said the snowboarding half pipe was disappointing , I’m hoping the men will be better
