For anything Winter Olympic related.

I spent at least half an hour of the snowboard gymnastics feeling that there was a stance called ‘the drunk driver’ which seemed a bit much, even for Bill and Ted. Then they calmed down enough for me to realise it was actually called ‘a truck driver’ but that didn’t really clarify much.

I wish they’d explain a bit more too.

I think they said drunk driver is one hand either side of the board and truck is on front side only

I hope Sweden beat the USA in the gold medal match.

They peaked too soon. Gutted. The Italian woman was excellent.

DH is gutted about the curling. He muttered miserably about Scotland having a bad week with Italians. I knew it was all over a couple of days ago when Steve Cram said something a gold medal being all but in the bag for Bruce and Jen. You never ever say that in the context of Scottish sport.

I'm watching the ?speed skate relay (I think) it looks impossible

I am watching with my toddler who said (about the americas) "they got an ouchie"

What a terrible 6 weeks he has had (and he admits to struggling mentally and physically and not able to train for a lot of January) after finding his teammate and training partner dead on December 23rd.

Well done to Sweden in the Curling- after beating GB yesterday, I am glad they beat the US.

Isabella was very good through out that match.
And they were up against a vey rowdy US-heavy crowd.

I keep noticing that John Hunt is commentating. So glad that he's able to do this. If you were working with him, it'd be so difficult to not want to keep giving him hugs or something. I don't know how on earth you get back to some kind of "normality" after what he's been through.

He was painfully dull (but excellent skater) with Gaby too. Anyway… Malinin in front after the short program , amazing skater who deserves all the things. Brilliant to see Maxim Naumov qualifies for the free skate too 😍

Malinin is such a boring skater- I just don't think he dances, just does skating gymnastics. He just looked so vague in some of his movements. I loved the jazzy routine from the Japanese guy, wish he had won instead.

I agree to a degree , I think his routines are quite messy and because he puts his hands down / slides a fair bit as part of the routine it’s hard to tell whether it’s deliberate or not .. I preferred both of the Japanese and the second American .

Has anyone seen or heard Joe Tracini's spoof snowboarding commentaries? I can't link to them as they are on Tik Tok which I don't have access to but I heard one on the radio this morning. V funny.

My favourites were that someone ' didn't have enough mince in the goulash' and a 'good tooth to gum ratio there'.
