Eldest ds went through secondary school with James Hernandez so we’re all watching and v pleased he and Phebe made it through! They’ve potentially got another couple of Olympics after this one. He’s a lovely guy and is so so dedicated to his sport

The Netflix documentary on the ice dancers really got me into the rivalry, although don't know why brits weren't in it. I think the French woman, Laurence, is absolutely mesmerising to watch.

I am going to be really disappointed if that boring French pair win , I won’t disagree that they are good but the routines are so painfully dull .

The speed skating relay always looks like absolute chaos

Bronze medal match for Jen and Bruce now, in the curling. Everything crossed- they will be very disappointed not to be going for gold.

They are of course playing Italy- so the support for them will be huge.

I am watching the men’s biathlon , I follow it all season so it’s the main event for me at the Winter Olympics .

Watching the curling but not feeling hopeful.
