Well, we soared through the last thread again, so here's a shiny new one!

Corrie is pretty much based around the tragic death of Billy at the moment. Bernie is starting to lose the plot a bit, and ended up in a hotel room with a strange man who is the husband of someone Roy has been chatting to. (It's all a bit confusing!!!) Then she ended up unconcious in the ladies toilets!

Todd and Theo are still together - annoyingly - and Carl (Debbie's brother) has just heard Theo blabbing to Billy in his coffin how he's not a murderer, and he should have saved him, and so on. A guilty conscience, or self pity? (I'm guessing the latter.) Carl was listening (conveniently!) and smirked when he heard Theo 'confessing,' but I'm not sure what he's going to do with the information. Especially as shortly after, Theo saw Carl doing some dodgy dealing with some blokes, and he photographed him. So, they now have 'something' on each other!

Not much happening with the Driscolls at the moment, and Ma Driscoll and Eva have called a truce. But for how long???

Shona and David's new little baby (Harper) is still a bit fragile.

Shiny faced Megan Trainer the Siren who has men (and boys) eating out of her hand, is showing an unpleasant, dark side, after practically threatening Sam (Nick's son) if he blabs anything about her and Will.

And Carla and Lisa have inexplicably made up, as if nothing has happened. On the plus side however, at least we have got rid of the dreadful Undead Becky storyline.

Probably some more bits and bobs to discuss, but I'm sure we'll get to them soon.

I feel like have missed something somewhere. I'm glad it's not just me who is a bit lost here! 😆 I'm sure it will all come out/make sense properly eventually.

Far be it for me to say that the scriptwriters feel they don't need to bother with a storyline that makes sense because some characters are so bloody irritating and unlikable we're all just relieved that they've gone.

Yes. And I think Roy (stalwart of the Street and so passive) should have a massive bloody melt down and go full John Wick on all those who have wronged him, with Theo, Carl etc as collateral damage.

@LesserSpottedCharacter yes that is exactly how I felt about Joel and his shenanigans, just leave my screen, I don't care how it happens or if it makes no sense!

And there are plenty of others I feel the same about. Starting with Ma Driscoll...

You're missing a trick there 80s, there are quite a few we could nominate to be present during the explosion!

Roy's Rolls could do with a fire in which nobody is injured and nothing of sentimental value is destroyed. But Gary could kit it out nicely for brunches and lunches and fancy coffee. Plus nice cakes for the factory. It looks very grubby.
Does the bistro do coffee and cake? I'd do there.

I think it's no use in any storylines just now @eggandonion . Never mind that it's part of the street (?) and somebody might chat to somebody else in it.

Maybe it'll become more relevant in the Roy's Rolls Revamp 😁

Gary's emporium was in the background the other day, there was even a customer going in. It could well be part of an upcoming storyline.

I don’t think the likes of Carla or Sarah would frequent Roy’s Rolls, yet everyone goes there for breakfast for a ‘treat’ on their birthday. It’s disgusting. It should be killed with fire, along with the armchair in the cab office and the Platt’s old sofa.

I do remember Roy writing and posting letters to ' pen pal' Alice. I just presumed she was local and not from Inverness!
Just a heads up- Corrie seems to only be on Mon,Wed and Fri next week due to football ( Tues) and rugby(Thurs).
I really wish this could be sorted out before the World Cup!

They didn’t show The Kabin for over a year. When she left, Sally Ann Matthews revealed it isn’t even a permanent set anymore.

Love Roy but hate his filthy cafe!

The Kabin used to be such an important part of the Street. But that was when Reet was in there. Now it's Brian I am not sure I want to see much of it, the scenes last week were painful.

His cafe has not changed much in the thirty years he has been there apart from the coffee machine and Nina adding vegetarian options. Back in the real world, cafes have improved massively in this country and grotty little places don't survive.

Buying cakes for the factory girls was always happening many years ago too , barm cakes (?) something they used to buy back then.
The hotel looks nice though.
