There was an Anthony in the second one. Chess player, I think. Can't remember anything else about him but I guess the poster meant he wasn't liked/didn't come across well.

Yes. He didn't come across that well and yet at no point did Claudia defend him with one of her comments.

I love Claudia, she's perfect for the Traitors but it's striking that she'll only defend middle aged women who are unpopular not the men. She always thinks they are amazing and I rarely see what she's on about (thinking of Diane here as well).

As with a lot on this show, there must be loads that we just can't appreciate as we see such a cut-down version of it. They may well spend a lot of time chatting with Claudia, and/or she watches a lot of their activity when she's not present. She must form quite well-informed opinions of them.
Maybe she also just thinks, women get criticised worse than men, so she'll support them, and the men can shift for themselves

Claudia doesn't spend time with them in the castle socially. She's not allowed to. I agree that she will have a more rounded view of individuals then the edit showed but I find it interesting that she only defends women who she insists are lovely when the show has shown them as anything but.

Faraaz is the only one I followed on Insta, I like his humour.

I don't recall Claudia saying anything notable when Kas was being ostracised.

I liked Faraaz for his reaction when he discovered Rachel was a traitor - he was very genuinely and delightedly giving her full credit for doing a bloody good job. And no, it wasn't in the least sexist.

OK, well my point that she watches footage of their activity when she's not present presumably still stands? And will help her form impressions of them. And of course she interviews them at the start and then the ones who get to the endgame, probably for longer than we get to see.

She said she has a room where she can see what’s going on and does tune in - she said they have to tell her to go to bed and stop watching!!

Might be more interesting for her if she's been following it all and 'knows' them better than we do.

Richard Osman said today on The Rest Is Entertainment that the contestants on Traitors do not get a fee.
