Welcome to Thread 7 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

This thread is starting mid-way through Episode 7, so goodness only knows what is going to happen in the Round Table Showdown that is brewing.

The floor is yours…

To be fair to Roxy, she, Matthew and Rachel had discussed having a chat before revealing the questions asked before Harriet got to breakfast. Roxy told Harriet but it was someting 3 out of the 5 in their team had decided. Harriet didn't want to be a team player, which is fine, but Roxy didn't do anything wrong in what she said at that point. And she was the only person to stand up to Harriet's rudeness.

ThatCyanCat · 15/01/2026 17:59

I'm sure I've seen scenes in previous series where a player gets the murder note as usual but then pulls out a shield.

So, apologies if the thread already covered this, it’s so bloody fast moving, but the outcome of the murder/failed attempt is going to provide some great clues and/or red herrings.

They successfully murder - everyone is going to say there must have been a traitor in that group and that’s how they knew who to murder.

They fail to murder because the person they chose was protected by a shield - everyone is going to say that group can’t possibly have had a traitor in it and that’s why they made the mistake.

OMG it’s going to be SO INTERESTING. Grin

Interesting indeed. But what if they see it as a double bluff to disguise the traitor in their group 🤯. I can't wait!

CaveMum · 15/01/2026 18:08

Well done on the stats @stillnoideawhatimdoing and DH! Richard Osman and Marina Hyde also did a bunch of stats on who is most likely to win - Traitor/Recruited Traitor/Faithful, Woman/Man etc.

Just as a warning - there are apparently spoilers circulating online about who goes tonight so be careful what you look at if you don’t want spoilers

Who are the guests on uncloaked?

I thought they might use voice distorters and I've seen other people online say the same! It would've been funny to see them actually answer.

The faithfuls have to have left the room after asking their questions otherwise they'd have easily heard the loud stage whispers in the confession booth!

LighthouseLED · 15/01/2026 18:14

PinkPanther57 · 15/01/2026 18:12

Who are the guests on uncloaked?

Linda, Alexander and someone I haven’t heard of - La Voix or something,

CaveMum · 15/01/2026 18:15

LighthouseLED · 15/01/2026 18:14

Linda, Alexander and someone I haven’t heard of - La Voix or something,

Drag Queen. Did the latest series of Strictly. Will no doubt make it all about himself.

I'm betting that they weren't as close to each other as the edit made it appear. They are all miked up and there could have been a runner between two rooms which made it appear that they were either side of the same wall.

Alexander was a player who couldn't overcome circumstantial suspicion.

Linda was the most blatant traitor ever.

Not sure if either are relevant in terms of telling us what will happen.

Could Alexander be hinting at Jade? No idea about Linda, as I don’t think either Rachel or Stephen are THAT obvious.

I hope the guests don’t give it away, though.

That's exactly how I saw it. I was rather impressed that Roxy didn't crumple into heap under the ferocity of Harriet's put down!

Good theory about Alexander.

I don't want the guests to to anything off either.

Maybe Linda is there to talk about Fiona, that would be funny

QueenOfThorns · 15/01/2026 17:52

NO! There just isn’t a murder. Nobody knows whether they tried to murder a shielded player and failed, or chose to recruit instead. It keeps everyone guessing!

Yes. And of course there is a certain amount of jeopardy if the shielded player they tried to murder says so at breakfast, because people might think they were actually recruited and are bluffing. Best to say nothing, maybe.

Didn’t Harry do that to cover a recruitment - said that the Traitors tried to kill him but he had a shield?

Saying nothing, staying under radar & using smarts later to win - def a strategy. Watch Jessie…

I was referring to all the comments on the thread claiming Roxy was the rude one. Sorry looking back I really wasn’t very clear on that point.

Of course Harriet didn't want to be a team player at that point, because one of their team was Rachel and she was already there in the room! She was just desperate to get her story in before Rachel said whatever she was going to say, and was really pissed off to be thwarted by by Roxy who, to be honest, shouldn't necessarily have had a say in who said what, when, anyway. Roxy was laying down the law a bit, and no doubt Harriet thought 'Who do you think you are, telling me what to do?'. In any case, when Harriet first walked in, she wouldn't have known whether Rachel had already said her piece or not, so seeing her there would have made her all the more determined to say what she wanted to say as soon as possible. And Roxy was doing her damnedest to stop her.

I can see that from Harriet's point of view it made sense to not wait. I was just pointing out the Roxy didn't do anything wrong telling her about what the group had decided. Roxy didn't know what had gone down the night before and in three immediate aftermath of the task they had decided and acted as a group. Roxy was trying to help and got slapped down.

How different would things have been if Harriet had kept her temper?

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 15/01/2026 18:39

Her face reminds me of a goose in earrings

Yes I know what you mean!

That face she pulls when she's been caught but tries to play it off. It's SO EASY to read. I used to do it as a young girl/10-13yr old or something when I was humiliated but didn't know how/couldn't own it. Caught out but try to play it off...internally she will be feeling like a dick

Me too. She's done nothing to make herself look like a traitor, not that she's had much airtime to do anything. It was Amanda's bizarre take that put her in other people's minds. As a naturally pissed off looking person, I feel a bit sorry for her.

I think that is part of the problem - she hasn’t really done much of anything. She doesn’t have to be smiley/chatty but she just seems to tag alone whether its the RT, a task or the casual chats. Quite a few are not uber smiley types (and a roomful would probably drive each other insane) but you seen them making a difference in tasks, speaking up at the RT or putting forward ideas in little chats. We are halfway through and I couldn’t tell you a think about her. Even Ellie speaks up more and engages more with the others.

I don’t like it when total passengers cruise through to the end and win/come close whilst those providing the actual interest for the game are lost. Jade certainly isn’t the only one but the combination of lack of contribution plus her hostility the very first time she was nominated as a traitor (its a game, she cites all her gaming experience in her entry bio) puts me off her as a potential winner.
