Welcome to Thread 6 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

No murder cliffhanger after episode 6, but Matthew (aka Interchangeable Male #3) has taken an interesting approach. We wait to see what cunning questions Harriet can come up with.

It could just be the edit. We see 1/24th of the conversations 15-20 people are having. Faraaz seemed like really good fun in the photography challenge. But no one suspects him as a traitor so he isn’t mentioned much at RT so we don’t get to see what he is saying each day. The focus of the edit is the traitors and the people coming up at the next RT so we can see the background to being named to be banished.

I also hate that they call it ‘seduce’/‘seduction’ now. Initially introduced as recruitment and then someone used the wrong word along the way and now they all call it seduction 🙄

I have to start paying more attention overall, eg I totally missed why people seem to hate Roxy???

Yes Fiona as the MN MiL from hell would definitely work.

Jade would work as the DiL who sits on the sidelines doing nothing but keeps a face like a slapped arse.
Harriet would be the Aunt who wins at Scrabble
Rachel would be in the kitchen adding aconite to Fiona’s special private gravy boat.
Ellie would be the one without a place setting as she was forgotten about
Stephen would burst into tears every time someone argued
Sam would have nobody sitting next to him as the last to get to the table
Amanda would identify a problem with the gravy and tell everyone to use Fiona’s special gravy by mistake

She's had quite a few months to come up with a plausible strategy for picking the people on the shortlists if anyone ever asked her, and since at one point she actually admitted that she loves telling little white lies, I can't see her telling the truth on that one.

@SoScarletItWas too - only the winners get any £ (?) Do you get an appearance fee?

If all 20 odd know the outcome now - that means partners prob too - it means 40 odd know (?) Any unwitting slip & all blows. Super impressive no leaks.

Many couples together on show would find it imposs to keep traitor or faithful status from each other too.

If NO prize money for months that might explain things.

Fiona was awful. Couldn’t cope with not being the Queen Bee Secret Traitor so went flailing around the group talking crap.
Her ego was her downfall.

I’ve discovered where Rachel got her hair and fashion inspo for yesterday’s episode. This is Miss Lila Greer, the teacher in Iggy Peck, Architect. Uncanny, even down to the bare shoulders. I was actually amazed to see Rachel in a jumper at the Round Table.

The turret isn't in the castle at all I don't think. All the filming of them walking in their cloaks around the castle is done after the series finishes. In the morning they are all driven to the castle and taken to holding areas upstairs. Some are called to the diary room (which is in the castle) and for one it's curtains before breakfast, but they call a random selection to the diary room before breakfast, so it isn't obvious until one person doesn't appear at breakfast. (This is slightly insider info from my slightly insider friend).

I'm quite surprised at the number of people in these threads who have claimed not to know the names of the young men or worse, cannot tell them apart. Is everyone just exaggerating for comic effect? I think they are all really different. I hope I don't need any of you as witnesses 😀 (famously unreliable evidence of course).
Hope Rachel gets found out. She would not only throw you under the bus, she would charter an entire fleet to do the deed and then stare down at your shattered body as life ebbs away with that supercilious look on her face😁.

I cannot tell them apart, so I doubt it. I don’t even remember how many ‘interchangeables’ (great description) there are.

I agree - if it was any group other than youngish white men it would be an 'ism' to find it sooooo hard to tell them apart.
I sometimes forget one or more of there because we haven't been shown them much in the edit yet but it's not hard to distinguish between say Reece and James they don't look anything like each other.

What I am not clear on is whether an NDA would prevent the contestants telling each other who won? In other words, do the people we are seeing in Uncloaked now already know the outcome? Obviously Ross and Judy would know how far Ellie and Roxy got. They must have to be really careful on Uncloaked not to let anything slip. Though I guess it could always be edited out.

No players except the final few know who wins. I remember on the podcast last time they talked about it.

They are bound to though, aren't they? Otherwise it would show themselves in a bad light for not being good sports.
I don't suppose the terms of their contract allows them to say anything downright derogatory about another contestant once the game has finished anyway.

Apologies if I missed this somewhere in all the many threads but I’m still confused about the traitors being allowed to lie in answer to the questions in the confessional.

Surely this makes Matthew‘s question – demand redundant? They can tell him they’ll agree to his deal, and then renege with no consequences - that’s certainly what I would do plus, they can’t promise they’ll murder Jessie she might get a shield – I hope she does.

I was about to say the same. I feel sorry for any DIL of hers, she would be a right pain.

What other secrets does ‘Bland’ Ellie have? Considering she is a psychologist, she does not seem to be very good at reading people or the room. She’s a bit like Amanda the detective in that regard.

To be fair it has happened before. In series 2 there were 3 young blonde women - Mollie, Charlie and Evie - who it took me ages to be able to identify individually!

i want Traitors to win- I always do- but if a Faithful has to win, I hope it's not one of the clueless ones like in past seasons.

I think she imagines her status as a psychologist is a secret? She hasn’t shared that has she?

I'm also rubbish at remembering/recognising faces generally, especially on TV. It's often a feature of neuro divergence .

I don't think she's shared her profession but she referred to plural secrets which is what's bringing the suspicion, very little of this is accidental which is why so many of us are scrabbling around for clues!
