Welcome to Thread 6 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

No murder cliffhanger after episode 6, but Matthew (aka Interchangeable Male #3) has taken an interesting approach. We wait to see what cunning questions Harriet can come up with.

The floor is yours…

This time it’s personal! Traitors 2026 | Thread 5 | Spoiler Free! | Mumsnet

At the time they didn't know Amanda was a Police Officer i guess Rachel could have been making the whole thing up ( leads into but why....). I think the vote confirmed who they believed

But, didn’t Fiona confirm she knew about Amanda’s profession during the confrontation? I feel like I remember her saying Amanda had already told her about being a police officer because of Fiona’s own family links to the force. Or did I just imagine that? Isn’t that exactly why Fiona was so pissed off, because she thought Amanda would have asked her to share the secret with the others due to their connection?

Thanks for the new thread OP

Sorry but I can’t find the original post where someone said that there’s a theory going round that Jack is Ross from season 2 in disguise. Did I read that right?! Now that would be a twist and a half!

Jack - I think it could be a disguised Ross’s brother. He’s an actor, not had work in a while, why not!

Fiona - bit annoying but not sure why she’s getting so much hate on here! Shes a real person, it’s a game! Poor woman.

Rachel - doing well, carry on. I hope she brings a couple of traitors with her to the end, for a fair competition with remaining faithfuls.

Which reminds me ofc fair meant in game terms, given that’s what they’re all playing!

Roxy god that was embarrassing. Cringe.

But then Jessie who I like, said something like ‘ no one will vote me out’, which was also a bit cringe.

Sam is my new favourite.

Obv lovely Harriet is bright and insightful. She won’t last much longer.. As a traitor watching her destroy Hugo, she’d be on the murder list as soon as not too obvious!

It's not Ross's brother. I guarantee you, that being a GoT fan where he played Ser Davos's son.

Ah ok thank you.. I’ve never watched GoT but just saw photos ..

This is Kerr Logan, Ross from S 2's brother. He's not Jack.

I think after the confessional the traitors will go immediately to the turret (which is a set at the hotel as the castle is not as ancient as that wood beamed turret looks) and recruit. Production set the rules so here is where they can ‘sway’ the series outcome by saying it’s not an option to recruit. They must try although the person offered can decline.

Unusually they started with 4 traitors not three but there was no recruitment option when Hugo left so now they are only on two. Claudia said there would be no murder tonight and the Traitors chapel chat is a good cover for a secret recruitment without arousing too much suspicion from the faithful.

Rachel will likely dominate who is chosen for recruitment and Stephen will just go along with it. Matthew who wants to be recruited? Harriet who is the smartest? Sam who has heat on him so could be offered up to the faithful as a traitor scalp? My money is on Sam to be recruited to take the heat off the current traitors when banished.

or possibly Rachel will suggest someone she thinks will decline so she can stay at just two traitors and not risk being thrown under the bus at the RT.

No Fiona didn’t say that, she said she thought Amanda would have told her because all her family were coppers so that’s why she couldn’t stand it that Amanda told Rachel.

Does Claudia have a new stylist?

Her make up feels so harsh and unflattering.

Isn't Harriet a bloody genius? She is the one flying the flag for older women.
*speaking as one

And I think Jade being unfairly judged by her RBF.
I find her gorgeous and compelling but she does come across as insular? is that the right word? so easy to point the finger at her.

Agree with you on all counts. I think Jade is an introvert, which is probably an unusual personality type for such a show.

Fiona was "confused" at the RT when she said that Rachel said Amanda had asked her to share her secret. That's what kicked off the defensive lying exchange at the RT.

My recollection is that Amanda only told Rachel her secret, she didn't ask her to share it and Rachel didn't say that Amanda had asked her to share it. R said she felt it added weight to A's suspicions ("she's trained to do this") so she wanted to share with the Faithfuls to help catch a traitor. Of course it would have taken the pressure off Rachel as well.

Of course we know Amanda was wrong anyway! 🤣

CharlotteRumpling · 10/01/2026 10:26

We have had introverts before who went all the way to the end though.

No, she had (or performed) a massive snit because she had a DH who was police so OBVIOUSLY she was the only person Amanda would have told and therefore Rachel was lying.

helplessbanana · 10/01/2026 10:28

Stowickthevast · 10/01/2026 08:42

I'm worried for Jessie, hopefully they're lying to Matthew (interchangeable male who is trying to make a name for himself). I liked their red team yesterday. Jessie + 3 males.

Really hope Harriet is in for the long run and can find some support.

On the questions, I was trying to work out one of those riddle type questions you could ask where you have two doors and one door has a liar and one has someone who tells the truth... I couldn't get anywhere though!!

Dick Francis used this in one of his novels. Basically if you have a question, it doesn't matter who you ask, because you ask them what the other person would say. The truthful person knows the other would lie, so gives the false answer. The liar, knowing the other is truthful, would lie and give the false answer. So whichever one you ask, the correct answer is the opposite to the answer given.

CharlotteRumpling · 10/01/2026 10:30

I need to watch Uncloaked to see what Amanda's reaction was when she was told her bestie was a Traitor.

C8H10N4O2 · 10/01/2026 10:31

Thewonderfuleveryday · 10/01/2026 09:45

2024 Minah has a video on her insta saying they also had days off when they would see the welfare and MH support team. She wasn't allowed to go for a long run (possibly risky in the highlands anyway) but one of the production team said she could do laps around the field while he played Taylor Swift from his phone for her 😂.

According to my DC the cool young things are buying vintage Walkmans for cassettes and CDs. I can’t believe a BBC production team lacked a cool young thing who could loan her a Walkman (or even an iPod)!

CharlotteRumpling · 10/01/2026 10:32

I thought Stephen was too nicey nicey to be a Traitor but I commend him discovering his ruthless side.

claudiaswinklemen · 10/01/2026 10:33

I am watching Uncloaked on catch up. Fiona's telling Reece that she was a traitor. I am starting to wonder if Fiona just has zero emotional intelligence / empathy. It's like it's all about her and no consideration for poor Reece's feelings.

I think they way amanda put a target on Jade put her on the firing line/brought her attention but literally no one has mentioned Faraaz? is that his name?

Honestly if he just never appeared again I'd never notice.

@CharlotteRumpling I agree re introvert- I think he is the kind that just sits quietly and no one notices.

You could also remove one of the interchangeable men and I don't think anyone would even notice.

Funny how some players stand out and others just don't.

I would rather players who engaged make it versus ones who add nothing.
Otherwise a very dull show!

I thought Amanda was good on Uncloaked, she laughed at being deceived by Rachel and was open about having made a mess of the last RT I liked her

sorryIdidntmeanto · 10/01/2026 10:34

It seems really unfair if the game is to catch traitors, and you do that, but then there are more traitors. Haven't they found them, and, therefore, won (once they have all 4)?

This for me an awful woman at work called Christine - she is Fiona without the Welsh accent. She was horrid. Shudder. Fiona’s delight in other people’s tears and upset is very real and not game play.

I wonder if it's the same Christine I know. Arch manipulator, Queen bee, very popular, everyone's best friend but woe betide anyone who crosses her.

No, they will recruit. That's why smart players don't find Traitors in the early stages but keep them to themselves until later. Because otherwise they will recruit..

Pushmepullu · 10/01/2026 10:37

I think Jack is Ross from series 2 and that Rachel is his aunt, ie Diane’s sister. Similar build, sharp facial features.
Ellie said she is hiding so many secrets. Ross was one, can’t remember if she has said that she is a psychologist, but that only makes 2 secrets, not the lots she has alluded to.
At the start I thought Roxy had a brain, the more I see of her the dimmer she appears to be. Maybe an act?

TheChosenTwo · 10/01/2026 10:38

SoScarletItWas · 10/01/2026 10:10

I’m sure an ex player has mentioned discussing things in their WhatsApp group before, so I think they all know and are just very good at keeping schtum. They will have signed non-disclosure agreements of course.

Edited

I’m sure I saw an interview with a winner once who said the money only went into their bank the day after it had aired - I wonder if they are told or sign a contract that states that if there are leaks they won’t get their prize or the full amount!
