Welcome to Thread 6 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

No murder cliffhanger after episode 6, but Matthew (aka Interchangeable Male #3) has taken an interesting approach. We wait to see what cunning questions Harriet can come up with.

The floor is yours…

This time it’s personal! Traitors 2026 | Thread 5 | Spoiler Free! | Mumsnet

@Pinkbox apparently her neighbours call her 'lovely Fiona', and she has a pretty altruistic job going on helping people who have been in trauma and working as a counsellor etc. Perhaps she really was just playing a part. It was certainly good television, and if nothing else she seemed to be having a great time. Not that any of that has made me warm to her in the slightest, but it's interesting.

I only remember because I watched it again with DS when he decided he was interested and wanted to watch it.

Series 2 was the best one IMO. Wasn’t a fan of the cast on series 3 especially the ones who ended up winning. I wasn’t into the Seer twist either - it meddled too much with the game

Series 2 is my favourite as well. Series 1 had too many bullies and an annoying end. Series 3, didn't like who won either. Series 2 is a great rewatch because the journey the winner went on and the way luck came into play is delicious.

I knew someone who used to call someone gorgeous when they were finding the person incredibly irritating!

it was sooooo good. Loved Paul and Miles, the plot twists, enjoyed the missions. All of it! Right down to the wire with Mollie writing Harry's name on the slate and then changing it. Nail biting.

It struck me watching this series that Rachel is having the same good luck as Harry did.

So Fiona appears to have been all over TV and radio, pretending she's a functioning human 😉

I saw her saying she had to tell everyone in the kitchen that she thought Rachel was a traitor because Rachel had opened it up already. That's not how it came across to me!

However I know I'm now biased against her because of that crazy rampage she went on and then all the fibbing and Tena lady stuff on Uncloaked.

To be fair to Fiona, her whole "I think Rachel is a traitor!" announcement WAS prompted by Rachel going to that group first and blurting out "you won't believe the private chat I've just had with Fiona! She doesn't believe me!"

Rachel was visibly angry and rattled at that point which I think is the only time we've seen her not playing a very cool, collected game. And she's lucky really that the blowback from that largely went Fiona's way BUT I think Harriet at least cottoned on to the fact that it was a traitor-on-traitor falling out so she could still come a cropper as a result.

If Rachel had allowed herself to calm down I don't think it would have come to a head like it did, I think Fiona would have restricted herself to 1-1 chats casting doubt on Rachel's story about Amanda, which I think would have been more likely to die down quietly.

Working as a counsellor? Words fail me.

Working as a counsellor? Words fail me.

I heard that through the grapevine tbh but haven't verified it. Knowing who told me it might be a daily fail article in which case copious salt is recommended.

MrsLeonFarrell · 13/01/2026 11:54

Claudia made that comment to Harry and Andrew when they decided to recruit Ross.

Yes, you're right!
I still don't remember Miles being recruited so early, though.

Yep agree with this!
That is what prompted it.

Interestingly, one of the articles about her health condition also says she is originally from Bolton. For anyone who may still be trying to make connections!

Maybe it's Amanda on The Masked Singer?

But probably good for Rachel that she ended up not giving Fiona space to undermine her and spread rumours behind her back. Fiona copied Rachel's mistake blowing up in public!

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 13/01/2026 12:50

@LittleBitofBread I'd have also said it happened later from memory but can't argue with the facts! Recruited at the end of episode 1, revealed at the start of episode 2 :D

I might well watch the whole series again.

Fiona had already told a few people before she spoke to Rachel directly, so Rachel absolutely did the right thing. Fiona acted out of anger / jealousy - she was annoyed that Amanda had confided in Rachel, not her, & also that people were trusting Rachel.

She came across as a nasty woman.

I think Fiona's big mistake was confronting Rachel rather than (as she started dong with Harriet) going behind her back casting doubt on the Amanda story.

She'd have had a strong game if she'd been subtly doing the "nah I don't buy it, Amanda would have told me first". It blew up because she confronted Rachel and Rachel reacted.

I think you’re thinking of an international season. I couldn’t remember this happening either in a UK version so looked up who the traitors were in season 2 and only Ash, Paul and Harry were there from the start. There were 6 traitors in total that year but none were recruited in episode 1.

Edited

I’m really not thinking of an international series, if you don’t believe me just watch the beginning of episode 2 where the recruited player from episode 1 is revealed.

Not sure why it matters so much to everyone but I just know I am right on this (which is not often) despite everyone telling me I’m wrong Grin

I’d completely forgotten Ash even existed, that’s why I don’t remember the recruitment! In my head the traitors were the other three.

Cos she was rubbish hahah, even the others were mean about how bad she was Grin

She spent her final episode saying she needed to start playing the game. It was pretty funny, poor Ash.

I agree. The power also went to Fiona's head and she stopped hiding who she was.

WonderfulSmith · 11/01/2026 21:33

I don’t see the point in asking the questions, they can just lie. I’m hoping Harriet has something super clever to ask. Something that will narrow down who they are. Then at the round table she can persuade everyone else.

They could learn something from a lie too through potentially

Tryagain26 · 13/01/2026 13:38

ChinFluff46 · 12/01/2026 00:10

On her Facebook page she's been recommending some crime books this week and I'm thinking hmm do any of these reveal her thinking? 🤣

Aren't the books she recommends the ones she had written herself

Tryagain26 · 13/01/2026 13:47

LittleBitofBread · 12/01/2026 09:18

Yeah, I've always wondered if they actually know that ie is it in the rules of the game as set out to them at the start? Or do they just assume there's always the same number?

I don't think they know they just assume three because I'm previous series it had been three, this time it was four .

ChinFluff46 · 13/01/2026 16:10

Tryagain26 · 13/01/2026 13:38

Not on this post - she started with 'and the questions I'm asking the Traitors are' then said, joke I am not revealing, but here are some books etc. She then said something about lying can be used for evil or for good, cryptic 🤣

The interesting thing is we still have a lot of strong faithfuls left. Apart from Sam and Jade who have had votes. There's loads that have had no votes or only one or two: Faraaz, Adam, Jack, Jessie, Roxy, James, Ellie, Matthew. I predict chaos soon!

WonderfulSmith · 13/01/2026 16:30

Richard and Marina have a lot to say about Traitors and their opinion of Fiona.
It’s the last 3rd so fast forward if you don’t want the rest of it.
