The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

I think Megan is definitely pregnant, but not sure how she'd know it's Will's. We know her and Daniel used protection because it was mentioned. But Will also mentioned "being careful"

I wouldn’t want to live anywhere with Will tbh. I know his being groomed, but honestly he is just horrible.
What kind of athletics does he do?
I wonder if the baby is Daniel’s ?

Both men have told Meghan they were careful! obviously it’s gone very wrong.

Shona gave her sister a perfectly good explanation of why she never went back. She should have just turned round and said "I have just had another baby, a premature one who needs an operation, stay at house or just sod off but no time for all this bollocks"

I agree that Shona should tell her sister that it’s all too much . When she came downstairs to say she felt ill I was wondering if Jodie is poisoning her somehow and that’s why she broke the mug, but she’d have to do it without poisoning David and herself too!

David isn’t scared of anyone and tells it like it is! Why doesn’t Shona tell him she’s getting grief from this woman and let him tell her if she can’t face it all.
Both seem to be tip toeing around her when they have other bigger things to worry about !

Exactly. My DH wouldn't have let a relative (or anyone!) through the door for a living moment if I had explained that I didn't want them there and would be in touch in my own time.

Shona had just had a baby - and a baby who is premature, and vulnerable, and at risk. She was exhausted and weary and just wanted to be alone with David and their baby. Normal for any woman who has just given birth, and especially if it had been traumatic.

If my DH had have let someone - even a relative - into our home without consulting me or telling me, and let them come to LIVE with us just after I had had our baby, I would have lost my shit. I would probably have gone straight to my parents house! I wouldn't have gone home until he had got rid of this person.

I kinda hope Leanne does buy into the pub and run it with Eva. (And Ma Driscoll fecks off!) I am warming to Eva a bit, but her stupid squarky laugh can get in the bin! Good description from the poster who described her laugh as a squark earlier! (@FlibbertyGibbitt )

Also, as has been said, I am impressed with Summer. (The acting.) Her reaction to what's happened to Billy is so raw, like she is genuinely devastated. Very good acting from the actress (Harriett Bibby...)

I’ve got a premature baby fighting for her life who is more mature than you” should do it. I’m sick of her already. Is she a new Becky, always hanging round looking sullen and aggrieved?

I've got a feeling Jodie is the new undead Becky. Hiding on the stairs, listening to conversations. Bored of her already.

Wonder of the Leanne buying Mrs Doyle out of the pub has been introduced because so many of have been saying how much we dislike Mrs Doyle.

Do we know when Wills mother died? That might have been the situation that caused Megan to start grooming him because of that vulnerability

I doubt the producers take notice of any comments here, otherwise Gemma and quads would be long gone!

I can’t blame David for any of this nonsense with Jodie. Yes he initially let her stay, but Shona is extremely outspoken and feisty, moreso than David! She has chosen to listen to the guilt tripping, she could easily tell her to take a hike. I wouldn’t have anyone in my house treating me like that, but yknow - plot reasons.🙄

Maybe they are running the idea of Leanne buying the pub so that when Ma Driscoll is arrested for her latest crimes (inevitable!) the idea is already waiting to go. Megan is definitely in the firing line.

Audrey owns the house, she paid for it to be rebuilt after the fire. And yet she is invisible! I don't think they have even bothered to say she's gone on holiday, just nothing.

When I was in hospital having a baby, one of the nurses said the previous night a twelve year old had given birth. The poor girl was apparently crying for her mother whilst in labour. So sad.
