What makes me chuckle most about Hugo’s middle management analogy, is that the ST hasn’t been inserted as needless middle management, it’s the Hugo et al have been demoted to middle management.

I assumed he meant talking about the secret of knowing someone in there i.e. Nettie. I don’t think this was a big reveal of a new secret. He’s not always totally clear with what he’s saying - the same type of muddle as what he said about “the plan” that Harriet picked up on. I think what he meant was ‘once I’d seen that there was someone I knew there, my plan was to pretend not to know them’ but it was able to be interpreted as a pre determined plan.

Do we know that the list is actually written by the ST? Maybe a production assistant does it?

It takes me a while to get to grips with everyone’s names to be honest! Really enjoying it though.

Could the ST nominate themselves to be murdered? Big risk, I know, but would throw the other traitors off the scent.

I don't want Ross to go, purely because he speaks clearly - ok so what he says can be misinterpreted but no need for subtitles to misunderstand him. He also comes across as calm and pleasant. (Plus he's good looking, but i don't want to come across as shallow 😀)

I see the hunt for relationships amongst the players has really ramped up this year!! Anyone looked at this tree and see how Judy and Roxy are positioned on it?

Also on Roxy - she told Claudia she wants to be a faithful didn't she? Unlikely to be the ST if she did.

Everyone seems to be more aggressive this year don't they? Straight into accusing people - a lot of "just an observation" comments.

I like Ross too @AuntyAngela . I hope that someone else screws up and he survives. I like Linda too because she's a shrewd Welsh mam despite her appearance and she'll probably talk herself into being banished too. I could never play as I'd be awful at traitor hunting and ally with all the people the faithful suspect. I've got a list of 5 potential secret traitors which must be about half the possibilities. I reckon they must drop some clues in the details like that weird connection tree or the order of the graves or something. Looking forward to the big reveal whenever it happens!

They aren't 'connected' on the tree Judy is central at the top and Roxy is on the edge of the right-hand side.

I think this is where the show suffers slightly now from not being so novel. By now all the contestants have seen how the game plays out, potentially multiple times in different versions. So the cliches about “voting like sheep” and the game playing come out much earlier than in the first couple of series where a bad decision at the round table was just put down to being a mistake instead of causing an argument.

I am really pleased that it’s not a “pick me” bunch of contestants this year though - they all seem to be quite a nice bunch!

I’m also glad that they’ve continued to go for everyday people, rather than wannabe z-listers. They’ve picked a varied cast list.

I was also a bit worried that it may seem a bit tame after the celebrity one, especially as we’re now in the fourth series (so we’ve seen it all before), but it’s shaping up nicely.

Shame about Judy going though. She seemed an interesting character, and was full of life and energy.

Based on Hugo’s reaction at their first reveal to each other in the tower, there’s possibly connections within the traitors themselves. Hugo also looks like another faithful (possible ST), but has chemistry with a traitor as though they already know each other. Or is just me with the ‘heavily invested already overthinking’ mentality 🤣?

Yes - so in reality the tree isn't showing relationships. Just the contestants on a tree with Latin written on it!

Latin means (and I copied this from elsewhere on the Internet!!):

If everyone is connected to one other person, who do people think Netty’s connection was? (Producers have said her knowing Ross was a coincidence)
