If they managed to do it they would meet the Secret Traitor. One of the nine people will be murdered on the following day. How the victim will be chosen has not yet been revealed.

PuppyMonkey · 04/01/2026 09:51

I didn’t understand the fingerprint task. What does that have to do with the secret traitor?

You didn’t understand it? Confused They’ve got to put a red mark on 9 people’s pictures on the family tree. Those 9 people will be shortlisted for murder. And if they do the selection of 9 people successfully, the Secret Traitor will join them in the tower - thus they won’t be secret any more. Trouble is, pretty sure other people will see the red marks on the family tree and it’s going to be very easy to work out who put them there when Reece reveals he was with Rachel and Stephen and then left them to it.

They were discussing the ST on Uncloaked, so it's obvious that they know the ST exists. And I'm sure the contestants know who it was, as well as knowning who wins, but are under a secrecy agreement.

Is this true? I thought they only know about what happens up to the point they leave and they get sent back home as soon as they’re out, so only the ones who make it to the final know how it all pans out?

Although I know in the past they’ve had WhatsApp groups and suchlike, so it’d maybe be difficult to keep it totally secret.

Yes, the Traitors wanted to recruit her and she refused and told the others. Naturally they got suspicious so her boyfriend swept in, revealed they were a couple and that's how he knew she was truthful. Another young man had been very into her and didn't know she was attached so that was horrible for him. And of course, she got murdered and the boyfriend got banished.

I think Tom was banished or murdered well before an attempt was made to recruit Alex.

Alex confided in Amos after she received her recruitment letter.

I don't know why Alex couldn't have just told Matt that she had a boyfriend Orleton him down gently. She didn't need to reveal that he was also in the castle with her at the time.

I get the feeling that they were assuming that the traitors would stay in for a few more episodes so the ST would stay secret for longer.

I didn’t understand the fingerprint task. What does that have to do with the secret traitor?

They need to select 9 people on their shortlist for murder by a certain time by fingerprinting potential victims.

They meet ST if they can manage this and then victimmis chosen from that list.

It's ageist too. The oldies are always looked down on, as if they shouldn't be there

The whole game, especially in the early stages, leans in to biases - players have nothing else to go on so their “interpretation” of very minor behaviours relies on prejudged assumptions, stereotypes and bias. The youngest are also often overlooked with the older women and have made successful traitors as a result. Each series the set of interchangeable men in late 20s/30s rapidly gel and echo each other, reinforcing existing biases. The idea that his is somehow not there or shouldn’t be discussed as influencing their choices is just silly.

They are from completely different parts of the UK.

This programme always has 'secrets'. Hers is her job.

What, she works for MI5?😂

Yeah I don’t think later contestants are supposed to reveal what happens but I’d imagine those that are friends or related definitely do spill the tea.

firstofallimadelight · 04/01/2026 10:30

im a little sad the ST is being revealed now, I liked the first banishment and not knowing if the person was faithful or traitor. I realised they couldn’t go all the way but I would have liked a few more episodes.

Harriet is very good (unless she is the ST of course!)

TraitorHunter · 04/01/2026 10:47

Also think that Harriet may be the secret traitor. I think that the producers had to be confident in picking someone who could carry out this role really well and alone, and with her barrister and crime writing background she is the ideal person there. She also posted on her facebook page photos of her handwritten grocery list (which is quite similar to the shortlist writing with artistic strokes) on Christmas Day, which seems like a big tease from her! She has successfully ousted Hugo, and if she is indeed the secret traitor, she will have earned herself a space amongst the other two traitors. Whether the faithfuls will find her too much of a threat due to her intelligence and being so articulate will be interesting to see.

Yes, im now rather hoping it's someone like ross, who seems massively honest , because harriet is too obvious....or maybe jesse, ( do i mean jesse?)who seems so under the radar.

ChinFluff46 · 04/01/2026 11:01

I had a dream last night and woke up convinced its Reese.

Mad they voted about a black woman right off the bat.

There are 9 white guys- statistically the most dominant group. At this early stage they’re just randomly guessing pretty much so logically they’d have had the best chance guessing from that group- it’s more likely to be a white guy than a minority as that’s the most prevalent demographic.

I can see that putting this theory forward would possibly create a round table chat they couldn’t broadcast…

We watched the first episode again yesterday and I think the first person to voice suspicions about Judy was Netty. A lot of the others agreed but Amanda strongly asserted that she hadn't seen any change in her.

SquirrelMadness · 04/01/2026 11:06

TheGreenBow · 04/01/2026 00:06

Although someone replied to my earlier post saying Roxy hadn’t wanted to be a traitor so that possibly rules her out as well 🤣 I don’t remember her saying that though.

I thought Jade was the only one who said she wanted to be faithful, I remember thinking "wow, all except one of them wants to be a traitor!" I can't remember them showing Roxy's response to that question.

Roxy is my number one guess. She seemed to want to deflect attention away from Hugo at the round table. And otherwise she seems quite good at not attracting any attention to herself.

I am convinced it's Ross, but I could buy into this theory. I just can't see this handwriting for Ross. But who knows if they actually write this down themselves. Maybe Claudia does it lol.

I thought the ST doesn't know who the others are but then how would they know who not to kill.

dayswithaY · 04/01/2026 11:10

If Harriet is the ST I can’t see why she would be so determined to oust Hugo. Surely you just use your power to kill off faithfuls and leave traitors to the end, if you’re still there.

Definitely something up with why Harriet felt so strongly about Hugo - almost personal.

And apparently she gave an amazing speech to take him down which we only saw part of. It takes quite some guts because there was a chance she gets it wrong if she isn't the ST.

Or she did this to be seen as forever faithful. They will adore her now.

Claudia said the ST knew everyone's status.

She took a gamble, as did Stephen.

I think she has just studied previous series and seen that anyone deemed 'clever' by the mob is immediately bannished because they are seen as the threat. Then we are left with people who don't have the skills to traitor spot taking wild stabs in the dark.

I don't think Harriet was at all personal when going for Hugo, just logical and articulate. Which will probably see her banished pretty quickly.

I think she’s so used to his ‘I’m the cleverest person in the room’ ego, from her own experience of men at work, she just wanted to get rid.

WarrenTofficier · 04/01/2026 11:20

To add she had gone in with a plan to hide that she had been a barrister because she felt it would make her an obvious target for murder (the retired cop has the same plan) and was immediately faced with someone who was freely admitting to being in a 'suspicious' job so she thought why haven't the traitors taken him out and from there taken a punt that it was because he was a traitor.

PuppyMonkey · 04/01/2026 11:22

Reece was up for murder, so we know he is a Faithful.

Piggywaspushed · 04/01/2026 11:23

Harriet does not have a poker face at all. She has pulled many faces at breakfast. That doesn't scream Traitor - secret or otherwise.

AlwaysRightISwear · 04/01/2026 11:23

Some PP was speculating about the nature of Fiona's job in local govt, and I have ascertained she is a Local Area Coordinator for Swansea Council.
