It's all happening in the street!

Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

I have probably missed some stuff! But we can catch up later! :)

Undead Becky got there first, Carla is in the boot of the car. Commence accident in Corriedale on Monday.

Because earlier Billy asked Aliya how she realised Yasmine was being bullied by Geoff. Later on in the pub she said to Billy that if he was worried about his “parishioner” he should do a Claire’s law.

This was overheard by Theo who then told Todd he’d overheard the convo and that on one hand Todd had asked him to marry him (foolish] then he’d been blabbing to Billy .

ARGH! I am soooo angry that bloody Becky got to Carla before Kit! How typical that Alya blabs it to Lisa - and Becky overhears. 🙄

And of course Theo heard the conversation about Billy knowing someone who has an abusive partner too! 🙄

Good episode tonight, but annoyingly predictable.

Was that blood in the cupboard where Carla had been kept?

No sign of Dev or Bernie, or Gemma or Chesney in the NYE pub party, or Steve or Cassie (though Steve and Cassie were mentioned.) Also no Sally or Tim. No Rita, David, Shona, Ken, Audrey ... Surely they should have been joining the festivities...

I wonder if the older woman (Trisha) and Tim storyline is going to rear its head again.

Poor Todd being kicked down AGAIN by Theo. Bashing him now for proposing... (And of course, he heard the conversation with Billy and Alya.)

I guess Corriedale is going to be about Undead Becky and Carla...

Im amazed that Billy hasn't heard of Clares Law. Or at least have some idea who to speak to. I've done the CofE safeguarding training and it's very in depth.

He used the what three words app - Costello told Carla “rhubarb blessing hill” which is how she ended up there, and she used it as the hotel name on the phone to Betsy as a clue.

Thanks for letting me join and I’ll catch up with past stories on line. I am already hooked on the Carla and Todd storylines and I just hope he can find the strength to leave him.

I think about age 42 on Corrie women become dopey and hopeless. Gail was first I think. Now Mary and Lisa are there. Shona has the brain injury at times. Leanne had fake Oliver. Eva is on the path.
