Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

No, what's happened is for the people who have spotted Becky, Lisa is pretending she's her cousin (or her sister, can't quite recall right now) and she said her name was Kim. Just made it up on the spot a little while back when someone spotted Lisa with Becky.

But Becky is her real name, as far as I know.

Yeah, I said that earlier... Too many people know about it now. When I showed a photo of an Ask For Angela sign on the back of the toilet door in a Wetherspoons (to my DH,) he said 'oh yeah I have heard of that, the cry for help from abused women isn't it?' I didn't tell him, he knew!

So yes, a new one is needed I think...

I remember the Rhubarb film! It was the ‘b film ‘ for so many films I saw at the pictures in the 70s with Eric Sykes ! You don’t get two films anymore at the pictures.

If you look for Rhubarb Hill on Google maps, there is a place between Harrogate (Emmerdale) and Manchester (Corrie)! Could this be the link??

I have accounts in all of them and cant be bothered to change them all its not fraudulent its just from when they were set up at various times.

My legal name though is my 3rd name as thats in my passport.

@SabreIsMyFave noooo the worst detective in the world is Swain. Locks up the wrong people and couldn’t detect her way out of a paper bag. She makes Kit look like a genius!

@zanahoria but Todd doesn’t want help, he wouldn't ask. He’s had opportunities, including with Billy. He doesn’t think he’s ‘worthy’ of help.

😆I noticed this too. He was soaking, but why? Did he fall in the canal?!

I thought this. My DH's mum upset me once, many years ago when we had been together about 8 months, (when I was at their house - DH still lived with her then,) and I got upset, grabbed my bag, and went for the front door. I was embarrassed and upset and wasn't spending another second in that house.

DH was almost in tears begging me to stay, and was terrified I was going to end it with him. He said 'please don't leave, don't finish with me.' I said 'I'm not gonna, I'm just never coming back here!' He said 'how can we keep seeing each other if you won't come to my house?' I just shrugged my shoulders and walked towards the gate.

He went back into the house and yelled at his mum for upsetting me, and driving me away, and said 'if she finishes with me now I will NEVER forgive you. She's the first girl I've ever really liked, and we were going to look for somewhere to live together soon and you're driven her away!'

Long story short, a few hours later, she phoned my house and gave a grovelling apology. Said she overreacted and was very sorry for how she spoke to me, and to please come to Sunday lunch next weekend ....

She never upset me again. I don't think she liked the version of DH that she saw. Luckily that version is rare!!!

tl'dr why on EARTH is Ben letting Ma Driscoll be such a vile cow to Eva? And accepting that pathetic non-apology?! My DH would have NEVER accepted that behaviour from his mum.

She should dump him, he's not got her back.
