So excited about this! Can’t bear to watch without spoilers first.

Watched them all I did enjoy overall.
The attack on the wheelers and the last ten mins were the best bits otherwise I thought it was a bit samey from previous sessions.
The age jump is also super distracting I actually laughed out loud when you saw Lucas for the first time in the school corridor strutting like a mid 20's unit
Robin was annoying me can't put my finger on why.
Sometimes I felt like I was watching scooby doo - adult sized kids taking on the demons and the government coming up with these master plans ..... Was a bit much for me for me this time.

Roll on boxing day though

Dd and I absolutely loved it, dd thought 8 was in the military base and I’m really pleased she’s back.

Loads more nods to classic 80s films, I love the nostalgia and clothes.

I was a bit sad that Dustin and Steve were so prickly with each other, poor Dustin.

I also wish they’d include Maxs mum who would definitely be at her bedside!

At last Will is doing something other than rubbing his neck and staring into space.

bit confused over where Max is but I’m usually behind everyone else on these things. Wonder what the significance of the rock is.

I always skip over the sister episode and think it’s a bit shit, I probably should have paid more attention.

I also thought Mrs Wheeler was brilliant, pissed as a newt trying to protect her daughter.

I loved it all so much.. I thought it was a great watch.

However, when Erica appeared onscreen we all laughed as she looks 30 years old.

Watched all tonight and loved it. Poor Dustin getting beaten up. Max has truly blossomed.
Eleven’s shorts over joggers combo was interesting but probably about right for 80’s America.
Yes to Mrs Wheeler being magnificent .

The character that looks oldest to me was Jonathan, he always looks knackered!!

Will at the end was amazing, dd and I were jumping up and down 🙈😂 he’s more powerful than Eleven!

I think the Jonathan actor is the oldest he's 33 which is ludicrous

I liked it but certain parts dragged on a bit for me, mainly Hopper and Eleven.
Joyce is a bit a weak pointless character imo.
Mike saved it with his s1 character kicking back in.

I'm a big fan, loved last season but although I enjoyed these first four episodes I was a bit frustrated that there's not much character progression (despite them looking like young adults!). Biggest frustration was the love triangle still going on between Jonathan, Nancy and Steve. They've been stuck together for a year and a half and it's still ongoing? I also wasn't a huge fan of Robin preaching to Will about accepting her true self while not actually being out to anyone but Steve (I get it's the 80s but not even to the gang?). Possibly annoyed me more as I just don't like Robin as a character.

I knew it was going to be 8 in the base but I'm surprised they brought her back given the fact most people hated that whole storyline.

Loved the ending to episode 4. Also loved the Demogorgon coming for Holly and Karen and her hiding in the bath. Poor Ted, the kids only seemed to ask about Karen, 😂 I do feel they should have killed them both off - it would make you feel like anything could happen.

The shorts over the joggers look reminded me of Josh Brolin's character in the Goonies.

We loved it. Binged it last night. Can't believe how grown they all look now, especially Erica. I guess because we've not really seen her over SM like the main cast members?

I wonder what the significance is with Vecna and the cave?

I worry about Nancy. That girl is so painfully thin. We've only watched the first one so far, will probably watch the other three tonight.
I thought Eleven was the most obviously older.
I'm finding it hard to look at Hopper since all the 'pussy palace' revelations.

For me there is a huge, easily over looked clue.

My daughter has met a few of the cast and Natalia Dyer seemed very healthy when she saw her(I did wonder if she was pregnant as she was glowing). But it seems she's very slim again 😞 I hope she's ok.

Watching Karen Wheeler hack at a demogorgon in her nightie was one of my favourite parts of the whole programme since s1 full stop. That was immense.

We predicted it was 8 in the compound from the moment we knew there was a compound. Obvs not vecna!

What has happened to Derek’s family? Haven’t they just been left tied up in a barn??

I mean-it is Joyce, Hopper, Karen and Ted, Alan Munson and I assume Patty Newby is Bob's sister.

It is like a roll call for his victims! But none dead-just tortured so far

I watched the trailer and was confused about Will's face when in the upside down in 1984-- turns out it was AI putting his face on another actor

He’s going for the kids again isn’t he? Rather than the adults, maybe that has something to do with it?

I do t understand the play thing, would Joyce not have remembered knowing Henry Creel? And would he not have murdered his family by that point? He must have been a fair bit younger than the rest of them 🤔
