They are back. I was dubious at watching s1 of this as she’s always annoyed me grinning madly like a Cheshire Cat with massive teeth

but I admit I was wrong

she came across as a lovely person and mum

I really enjoyed watching their lives tho Joe can be an immature knob at times esp if she is working and wants him home (rem the fishing trip)

shame they never seen to mention /show Joe’s eldest - not sure if that’s his decision or they are just showing the younger 5

either way nice to see inside pickle cottage

and Dave was lovely. We all need a Dave

What a delightful final episode - had me smiling the whole way though! Although I'm not sure about the name of Stacey's skincare range Rehab 🤔

Edited

Agree. The love for their families and each other just shines through.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/10/2025 21:25

They do seem happy

tho Joe does need to be firmer with the girls and sit down for a meal and not climb over him

bless teddy. Nose all tingly watching him in the water tank

agree rehab bit a good name

Absolutely loving this . It is my comfort tv even if it feels like an ad for Stacey’s beauty business at times.

Isabella40 · 14/10/2025 21:37

Has anyone tried the rehab products Stacey uses? Are they worth the money?

Shellingbynight · 14/10/2025 21:41

I agree it's comfort TV, it's such a lovely programme. I'll miss it!

Just one small criticism - I really hate how both Stacey and Joe walk around outside in just their socks and the kids are barefoot 😐

Edited

Why? We're always being told to get out and experience nature, feel the earth under our feet etc.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/10/2025 03:29

I haven’t used but it has good reviews

Her Rehab stuff is a bit above my price range.
I agree about Joe needing to be firmer with the kids and not being just like a big kid himself.

the80sweregreat · 15/10/2025 15:01

I looked up the rehab products online and the bottles look more like cleaning ones than for hair. Bed head products had a similar vibe too. I imagined something more fancy

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/10/2025 19:57

From what I gather she used the product and liked it and why she went into business with the company /woman who made it and obv her name and money then made it happen

Joes image has definitely been rebranded on series two. No more letting Stacey down and much more hands on and helpful. Think that was probably their take away from series 1😜

the80sweregreat · 19/10/2025 08:58

Maybe Joe letting get her down in the first series was staged a bit, she did say ‘ he will be late ‘ and he was!
I’m glad his more hands on now , they do have a lot going on between them. The thing I admire most is they have worked so hard for what they have together
and so positive about it all. It’s been a nice series,

StrokeCity · 19/10/2025 09:52

I think Series 1 was edited to make Joe look worse than normal, as a build-up to his ADHD diagnosis

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/10/2025 22:25

I saw Teddy on his wheels today on Facebook. Bless him

Agree that Joe came across so much better this series and that it could be down to the editing between the two series . They certainly showed much more scenes of the family being happy together rather than a lot of bickering between S& J .
Have just googled and there are no definite plans for a third series . It did say that J was going to do a documentary for the BBC about young dads .
I suppose I wonder what the net benefit would be for the family doing another series . S is already very well exposed and has several series on the go . J whilst not as bankable( initially ) as S does have work on the go . I think his career will have benefited from this last series .
As with any reality series they have to balance the media exposure of their family , especially the children against what they can gain from it . I think whilst they come across as a lovely family they aren’t doing this for altruistic purposes . They will of course also be paid to do it , but I suspect S will make more money from her commercial collaborations . It was obviously no bad thing to get the publicity from the show which would have increased sales for these .
i do think they do show a great representation of young parents , as both S & J were both relatively young when they had their first children . They have of course both greatly benefited from very close knit and supportive families and it is great to see that they are also appearing to have good parenting skills themselves .
I suppose it may depend on how ambitious they are , do they want to become a family brand like the Beckhams ? Do they push their kids to be successful as well . They then face the nepo kids backlash . I really hope not .

Is anyone watching the new Joe Swash programme on now instead of Stacey & Joe? It's very interesting imho.

Yes. It's called Joe Swash: Forgotten Young Dads. Really eye opening - glad I watched it.
