They are back. I was dubious at watching s1 of this as she’s always annoyed me grinning madly like a Cheshire Cat with massive teeth

but I admit I was wrong

she came across as a lovely person and mum

I really enjoyed watching their lives tho Joe can be an immature knob at times esp if she is working and wants him home (rem the fishing trip)

shame they never seen to mention /show Joe’s eldest - not sure if that’s his decision or they are just showing the younger 5

either way nice to see inside pickle cottage

and Dave was lovely. We all need a Dave

@Blondeshavemorefun she also grew up with large groups of family members. I didn't - always only me, mum, dad and sister. We never went round anybody's houses and nobody came round ours.

I watched ep 5 last night . I think Joe is coming across better in this series and does seem to be a genuinely lovely dad .
I think it was interesting at the BAFTAS and Stacey’s honesty about being gutted she didn’t win . I also it was very telling that she thought of herself as more Peggy Mitchell, than Joanna Lumley , so felt she didn’t really fit it at the BAFTAS .

I think also we find them relatable, but their lifestyle is beyond most people’s i.e living in a £1 million plus house with land and ski-ing holidays in Switzerland . I also saw that she and her 4 year old daughter Rose / Belle ? recently celebrated their joint birthdays at the Shard including a hotel over night stay .

I suppose that can also be said for a lot of celebs who are seen as down to earth and then become quite rich . I also accept that not everyone who is rich will lose that authenticity / relateability .
I also agree with what others have said about it being exhausting watching everything they do and both Joe and Stacey being away for filming . I also dont know who everyone is , Stacey seems to have a PA , the lady with the brown hair , we saw a dresser in yesterday ‘s episode and also Sam ? Who seems to help out with the garden / veg and bees . They also seem to have a lot of family help . We also saw the jobs list that Stacey left Joe , which seemed to entail a 5am start and not much time for sleep !

I have a cuddle before he goes awayfor five days they were different colour but then the next day after the day he had gone back to the Pale colour.

So the cuddle they showed him going away wasn’t the same time

Dave is their full time nanny and grandad 😂 and a huge help plus has her sister and pa

I do like the. The kids seems sweet tho as soon as Jo came back it was what have you got me - do they get pressies every time he goes away?

It was fascinating to watch the bee lady catch the swarm.

Joe does seem to be taking more responsibility this series. He is great with the kids (being a big kid himself!)

Teddy is such a lovely dog, so happy despite what has happened to him.

You can tell Stacey loves animals and tbh having them all and garden is a full time job

let alone her actually working as well

They all come across as really lovely people who all help each other out and are really close to each other. I appreciate it’s a carefully curated version of their family life but it was lovely to watch. Left me feeling appreciative of this time in my life which is busy but wonderful. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with fame but I’d quite like their fortune!

Love this show! Poor Teddy is back home but he can’t feel his toes , poor dog. They are caring for him.
Their lives are so full on!

@NebulousSadTimes one of the discs in his spine has gone so his back legs are currently paralysed. Hopefully they will find a happy solution for him.

So he gets walked /helped by a special harness so he doesn’t put weight on his back legs /spine

I loved her taking Zac on over late night internet. She's a GOOD WOMAN 👌🎯 sensible and cares enough about her kids to kick a** when required. Brilliant.

Are they at these gatherings we see on TV but just not filmed cos they don't want to be?

I don’t recall seeing Stacey’s mum at all , but we have seen Joe’s mum and family. I have missed a few episodes though , so maybe she has been there ? Her sister seems close to her.
